How To make Applesauce Raisin Cookies

1/4 c Vegetable oil
1/4 c Sugar
1 Egg
1 ts Vanilla extract
1/2 c Unsweetened Applesauce
1/2 c Whole Wheat Flour
1/2 c Unbleached White Flour
2 ts Baking powder
1/2 ts Baking soda
1 ts Ground cinnamon
1/8 ts Ground cloves
1/2 c Rolled oats
1/2 c Raisins
Cream the oil and sugar together. Add the egg and beat until light. Blend in the vanilla and applesauce. Stir in the flours, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, cloves, oats and raisins into the creamed mixture. Blend well. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto lightly-oiled baking sheets. Bake in a 375 F oven for 8-10 min or until lightly browned. Cool on a wire rack.
