Brushwood Cookies | Christmas Angel Wings | Crispy Cookies Recipe | Polish Chrusciki
If you think that brushwood is only branches for a furnace kindling, you are mistaken. Brushwood is also the most yummy cookies which is loved by both children, and adults.
INGREDIENTS
4 eggs
2 tablespoons sugar
A pinch of salt
4 tablespoons milk
All-purpose flour 3-4 cups
Vegetable or sunflower oil for frying
Icing sugar with which strew ready cookies
PREPARATION
1. In separate ware we break egg, we add to it sugar and we stir. Then add milk, sugar and salt. Carefully mix everything.
2. Then gradually add the flour to mix and accurately knead dough.
3. Having kneaded dough, lay out it on the table strewed with a flour. Cut off a small piece of dough and roll it in thin layer, no more than five centimeters thick. Pay attention that the is thinner will roll dough, the more tasty cookies will turn out, on it depend, whether it will crackle. Now cut dough on thin vertical strips five centimeters wide and once again cut in half that small rectangles turned out.
4. In each rectangle do a section, then take it in hand and push one edge in this section, you will see how dough began to get a shape of curls. Several times repeat this procedure. Watch that dough stretched as little as possible. Having received the necessary form, postpone future cookies and repeat procedure with other preparations.
5. Heat well oil and to omit in it preparations. Pay attention that dough increases in sizes therefore strongly close it is not necessary to put it. Besides it very quickly prepares therefore do not overdo it that did not burn down.
6. As soon as cookies became golden color, at once take out it a skimmer, lets oil flow down and put on paper towel.
7. Then shift this yummy cookies on a plate and sprinkle with powdered sugar. Enjoy!
