1 c Brown sugar 1/2 c Melted butter 1 c Rolled oats 1 c Coconut 1/2 c Almonds (halved) 1 ts Vanilla Mix brown sugar and melted butter. Add rolled oats, coconut, almonds and vanilla. Stir. Press into a greased 8 inch square pan. Bake at 350F for 20 minutes. Cut in small squares while warm, remove when cooled. Source: Heritage Recipes ch. -----

Florentine Cookies | Crunchy Mixed Nuts Cookies
Let's try out these crunchy and absolutely tasty cookies which will have you wanting for more of these delectable snacks. They're even super easy to make with NO DOUGH, NO MIXING and NO BUTTER.
All you need to make these cookies are: ~Florentine flour - 200gm ~Almond flakes - 100gm ~Sunflower seeds (kernel) - 100gm ~Pumpkin seeds - 100gm ~White sesame - 1 tbs ~Black sesame - 1 tbs
*Florentine flour can be found at nearby bakery stores.
Bake for 15-20 minutes at 150 degree celcius.
Note: Please do cut the cookies while its still hot, to avoid breaking, you may keep the cookies in jar once it cools.

Italian Almond Biscuits (Riciarelli)
Called Riciarelli or Brutti ma Buoni (“Ugly but good” in Italian!), these Italian Almond Cookies are chewy on the inside, filled with wonderful almond flavour, and studded with dried cherries. They keep for 10 days, and because they're gluten free, everybody can enjoy them!

Ingredients:(7x10 cm oval 9 pieces) One large egg whites 32g 35g Icing sugar 15g cake flour 15g melted unsalted butter 45g almond slices A pinch of salt
Preheated oven to 140℃/ 284°F(middle layer, convection) to bake for about 15-18 minutes
