Chocolate Eggs, coconut and peanut butter filled (Voice Over added)
The entire video has no sound. Apparently, my microphone died! I added a voice over narrative, so I hope it helps. Enjoy!!
Today we’re making another project for Easter. We’re making chocolate eggs filled with coconut and peanut butter. These were a favorite as a child, especially the coconut eggs. You can use these recipes to make other tasty candies, too. I do!
I figured out why the chocolate marshmallows cracked. I put them in the freezer both times and only coated the molds one time. I should have placed the molds in the fridge and coated them twice, before filling. Then put them in the freezer when I put the chocolate seal on them, to set them. So remember, fridge first, coat the mold twice and then the freezer. (Like we did for the chocolate bombs.)
I put the molds into the fridge for 5 minutes, each time I coated them before filling. Once I filled them, I put them into the fridge for 2 hours to completely chill before sealing them closed with more chocolate. Then I placed them in the freezer for 10 minutes. They weren’t quite ready (you can see the chocolate still looks wet). So, I put them back in for another 5 minutes before turning them out to decorate.
I accidentally added the coconut when mixing the filling, before the powdered sugar. But it turned out just fine in the end. I just washed my hands and squished it all together, like meatloaf. Just be sure when you make the coconut filling you follow the recipe. I was too busy chatting and not paying attention. LOL!
I also let the finished eggs dry for an hour before I carefully placed them into the treat bags. I’m going to go get some clear boxes for the sugar eggs, too. I’ll take some photos and add them to a later video for you.
I hope you like them! Let me know in the comments what else you’d like for me to make for you.

Commercials in late 1984 on KCOP, Channel 13 Los Angeles.
A collection of commercials that were recorded around some Star Trek episodes that I recorded on a VCR back in 1984, maybe early 1985 as well. I roughly edited out the commercials and put them together.
