High Fibre Wholewheat Waffles for kids #recipes #shorts
Kids love waffles so why not make a healthy version that they can enjoy!
- In a bowl take 1 cup hot water, add 3 tbsp jaggery (as per individual taste) & mix till it dissolves
- Add 5 tbsp wheat flour & mix well so there are no lumps
- Now add 1 tbsp dahi alongwith ¼ tsp baking soda and mix
- Pour some milk for a smooth waffle like consistency
- Waffle it up
- Drizzle some maple syrup on top & serve with fresh fruits
Wholewheat flour is rich in fibre which is a must for good digestion. The B Vitamins in whole-wheat flour help provide the body with energy. It also contains Niacin that helps improve brain function & has a good content of zinc & iron in addition to other minerals.
