2 c Fresh strawberry puree 1 c Applesauce 1 tb Lemon juice 1/4 c Sugar Combine pureed berries and applesauce with lemon juice and sugar. Line a 10x15 in jelly roll pan with plastic wrap. Pour fruit into pan and spread evenly. Bake about 5 hours at 200F or until leather pulls away from wrap. Flip leather onto counter, peel away plastic and remove any mixture that has not "set." Cut into slices and wrap each in plastic. Source: Sun Newspaper clipping June 28/93 from The Garden (U-pick farm) booklet, shared but not tested by Elizabeth Rodier, Calgary, Alberta

How to Make Homemade Strawberry Fruit Leather Roll-Ups
Brief video to show how to easily make homemade strawberry leather, or fruit roll-ups. So easy to make with only 3 ingredients!
Little Roger is absolutely obsessed with fruit. He would eat only fruit for every meal if he could, his absolute favorites right now are grapes and strawberries.
While I originally shared this recipe in 2015 as a great way to use up excess strawberries (especially if you harvest more than you need while strawberry picking), that is no longer a problem in our home because our little one tries to consume every strawberry in sight.
In years past, when making fruit leathers, I typically used plastic wrap as the base (the oven doesn’t get hot enough to melt the plastic) but I finally upgraded to these silicone baking mats and feel much better about baking fruit leathers on them for our family.
And I absolutely love knowing exactly what is in these fruit rolls – strawberries and honey!
What’s your favorite type of fruit leather?

Here is what you'll need!
4- Ingredient Kiwi-Strawberry Fruit Leathers Servings: 10-12
INGREDIENTS 3 cups strawberries, halved 1 cup kiwi, cut into quarters 3 tablespoons sugar 1 tablespoon lemon juice
PREPARATION 1. Preheat oven to 170˚F/70˚C. 2. In a food processor or blender, puree strawberries, kiwi, sugar, and lemon juice. 3. Over a bowl or jug, pour the puree into a strainer and stir to remove most of the seeds. 4. On a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, pour the puree and spread evenly over the paper, being careful not to let it spill over the edges. 5. Bake for 5 hours, or until it is mostly dehydrated and is no longer sticky. (This may take up to 6 hours depending on the oven.) It is done when it has a bendable, leathery texture. 6. Cool completely and cut into strips, leaving the parchment paper attached. 7. Roll each strip up and tie with a ribbon or twine. 8. To serve, remove ribbon/twine and parchment paper. 9. Enjoy!
