Lemon Pepper Garlic And Herb Roast Turkey Recipe | Step-By-Step Tutorial | Thanksgiving
It's time to dispel all the myths about dry turkey breasts. Cooking With Tammy Seasoning:
Lemon Pepper Garlic And Herb Roast Turkey
oil
1 stick butter
6 lb turkey breast
salt to taste
1/2 tbs black pepper
1 tbsp paprika
1 tbsp adobo
1 tbsp chicken bouillon
1 tbsp cajun seasoning
1 tbsp lemon pepper
1 tbsp garlic powder
4 sprigs cilantro
2 sprigs rosemary
1 sprig sage
2 sprigs thyme
5 sprigs parsley
potatoes
carrots
Preheat the oven to 450F
Start with cleaning the turkey thoroughly. (See Video.)
Chop the herbs (parsley, cilantro, thyme, sage, and rosemary) and set them aside.
Add the herbs and 1/2 of the combination spices ( salt, black pepper, adobo, cajun seasoning, lemon pepper, paprika, chicken bouillon, garlic powder, to the butter and combine.
Add a splash of fresh lemon juice and incorporate.
Add the turkey to a roasting pan/dish, and season the turkey breast thoroughly with seasoned butter. Add a sprinkle of reserved spices to the top of the turkey.
Chop the carrots, and potatoes, and add the remaining seasoning to the veggies.
Add the potatoes and carrots to the roasting pan.
Roast the turkey at 450F for about 15-20 minutes until the skin turns brown.
Reduce the oven temp to 350F and bake for about 1 hour and 20 mins. to 1 hour 30 minutes or until the thickest part of the turkey is cooked thoroughly and reaches an internal temp of 165F.
Baste the turkey every 20 minutes with the juices in the pan. And inject periodically with seasoned butter. (See below.)
Turkey Injectable Ingredients
3 tbsp butter
3 tbsp water
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp garlic
1 tsp lemon pepper
1 tsp adobo
1 tsp Cajun seasoning

Garlic Butter Roast Turkey Recipe: This Easy And Delicious Thanksgiving Recipe Will Make You Look Like A Pro Chef This Holiday Season! Recipe Below.
Cooking With Tammy Seasoning:
Ingredients
6 - 7 lb bone-in turkey breast
1 stick butter softened (room temperature)
4 garlic cloves finely chopped
3 sprigs sage leaves finely chopped
1 tbsp rosemary leaves finely chopped
1 tbsp thyme leaves finely chopped
2 tbsp parsley finely chopped
1/4 -1/2 tsp salt
1/4 -1/2tsp black pepper
1/2 tbsp chicken bouillon
1 tbsp roasted garlic and herb seasoning
3 potatoes sliced
1-2 large carrots sliced
Add salt, pepper, roasted garlic and herb seasoning to taste.
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F.
Using a bowl add the butter, garlic, sage, rosemary, thyme, parsley, chicken bouillon, roasted garlic and herb seasoning, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Stir to combine.
Loosen the skin of the turkey breast. Spread half of the butter underneath the skin of the turkey, and the other half of the butter on top of the turkey breast. Add the seasoned veggies to the roasting pan.
Place the turkey in the baking dish. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the skin has just started to brown.
Reduce the oven temperature to 350 degrees F. Bake for approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes, to 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Basting and injecting occasionally with pan juices.
Check the temperature of the turkey by inserting a thermometer into the thickest part of the meat.
Roast the turkey until the temp. registers at least 165 degrees F.
Garnish with rosemary and serve.
Notes
If your turkey breast is larger or smaller than the size indicated in the recipe, you can adjust the cooking time accordingly. Turkey breast cooks for approximately 20 minutes per pound.

✅if you can get your hands on a oven safe thermometer please do this helps you to make sure not to over cook the turkey!
✅for each pound you roast for 13 minutes (_ x 13=_) divide the total by 60 that’s how many hours!
✅ how to Thaw a turkey properly: Thaw turkey breast side up, in an unopened wrapper on a tray in the fridge
Allow at least one day of thawing for every 4 lbs of turkey.
Keep turkey in original wrapper and place on tray.
Use turkey within four days after thawing.
✅fry brine turkey for at least 24 hours!

2 tsp garlic powder

Roast Turkey With Chinese 5 Spice Gravy (Asian Style Roast Turkey)
Chinese Roast Turkey With Five Spice Gravy. Delicious and aromatic with five spice powder, ginger, garlic and black pepper. The juices are used to make a delicious gravy. This is turkey with delicious Asian flavors. You'll be amazed how delicious this turkey is, when cooked this way.

Recipe is below:
CHINESE ROAST TURKEY
15 lb. turkey
1 to 3 tablespoons five spice powder
2 tablespoons chopped ginger
3 tablespoons minced garlic
1 tablespoon black pepper
2 tablespoons salt
3 or more stalks green onions
Put the five spice powder, ginger, garlic, black pepper and salt into a bowl. Mix ingredients well.
Clean turkey and pat dry. Also clean the giblets and other innards. Cut wings of turkey and put in roasting pan. Place turkey in pan.
Put some of the ingredients under skin of turkey. Also put some of the ingredients over the outside of turkey. Roll each giblet, heart, liver, neck in remaining ingredients in the bowl and put in the cavity of turkey. Also add stalks of green onion in cavity as well.
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Put turkey in oven and roast for 1/2 hour. Turn down heat to 320 degrees. Add 5 cups of water. Continue to cook at 320 degrees for 2 hours. Baste liquids at least 3 times. Cooking time is about 10 minutes per pound of turkey using this cooking method.
For a quicker cooking method, preheat oven to 420 degrees. Cook turkey for 1 hour at 420 degrees. Turn heat down to 375 degrees, and add 5 cups of water to the pan. Cook turkey for 45 minutes at 375 degrees. Baste turkey 2 times. This is for a 15 lb. turkey.
Five Spice Gravy Recipe
1 tablespoon salt
1 tablespoon dark soy sauce
8 tablespoons cornstarch
1 1/2 cups water
Remove turkey from pan when cooking is completed. Pour liquids through a strainer into a cooking pan. To make more gravy, add 3 cups more water. Bring to a boil.
To thicken gravy, put 8 tablespoons cornstarch into a bowl. Add 1 1/2 cup water and mix well. With a wisk, blend cornstarch mixture slowly to thicken gravy. Add more cornstarch mixture is gravy is too thin.

Today I’m going to be sharing with you the easiest and most delicious roasted turkey now let me tell you when i tell you this is the BEST, I meant it!!!!
After making sooo many turkeys , and testing it all this different ways(basting, covering it with foil and other myths) let me tell you I came to conclusion that the best way its done is by just not touching it and allowing the oven to do its thing, the secret is just to make sure not over cook it and allowing the turkey to rest for 30 minutes NOTHING less! Check the turkey 50 minutes before its done,(13* the weigh of turkey in pounds divide by 60) thats how you get amount of time the turkey should roast BUT LET ME TELL YOU DO NOT LET IT GO ALL THE WAY, the turkey cooks in less than that, specially if it’s thawed out appropriately!!!!! Remove turkey from oven check temp with thermometer, it should read 165 dont cover it, it will not make a difference, we want the skin to be nice and crips! The turkey already has its juice and it will not go anywhere unless you cut it right away!???? Check turkey 50 minutes before time the tip of the thermometer should be placed into the thick part of thigh without touching the bone, it should read 165! Also it is important for turkey to be at room temperature, the turkey will cook evenly and the butter will stick better, if your turkey is cold, the butter is not going to stick!
Drizzle a little olive oil on top for extra crispyness, sprinkle a little more old bay seasoning for the extra kick!
Tip! Brine for at least 24 hours
Ingredients:
15-20 lb turkey

2 lemons
1 lime
1 orange
1/2 onion
1 garlic head
3 sticks unsalted butter at room temperature
4 tsp old bay seasoning
1 tbsp lemon peppers
2 tsp ground black peppers
4 tsp onion powder
4 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp cayenne peppers
2 tsp crush pepper
Optional; drizzle olive oil and sprinkle old bay seasoning for extra Crispín es and spice!
4 cups chicken broth
