3 sticks butter 2 cups sugar 1 teaspoon vanilla 4 eggs 1 pound brown sugar 4 cups flour 2 teaspoons baking powder 2 teaspoons baking soda 2 cups cornflakes 2 cups oatmeal 1 cup coconut 1 cup nuts -- chopped 1 cup chocolate chips Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cream butter and sugar. Add vanilla, eggs, and brown sugar. Mix together well. Sift together flour, baking powder, and baking soda. Beat into creamed mixture. Stir in with large spoon, cornflakes, oatmeal, coconut, nuts, and chocolate ch ips. Bake on bright shiny baking pans (this does make a big difference) 10 - 12 minutes. Cool; remove from pans.
