Are nut thins actually healthier than other crackers?#shorts
We know nuts are heart-healthy and a good fat option, but it turns out they are not the main ingredients in these crackers. Surprised?
Rice flour is the main ingredient, which doesn’t really have any health benefits over wheat flour.
From what I can tell, I’d say there’s about 3 almonds (at the most) in a serving of crackers. You’d probably get more nutritional benefit by spreading almond butter on top of whatever crackers you prefer.
I’m not saying you shouldn’t buy these! I’m just saying that they’re not the same as eating a serving of nuts or nut butter, and I hate how the package is misleading!
