12 oz Pkg. pitted prunes; chop
2/3 c Sugar
1/3 c Butter; softened
1 1/3 c Water
1 ts Vanilla extract
1 1/2 c Flour
1/2 c Whole wheat flour
1 ts Baking soda
3/4 ts Cinnamon
1/4 ts Ground cloves
1 c Walnuts; chopped
In a lg. saucepan, combine prunes, sugar, butter, water and vanilla. Bring the mixture to a boil, remove the pan from the heat, and let stand for 30 min. Transfer the mixture to a lg. bowl. Preheat oven to 350. In a med. bowl, combine the flours, baking soda, cinnamon, and cloves. Stir the lfour mixture into the cooled prune mixture. Add the walnuts, mixing the ingred. until they are well combined. Transfer the batter to a greased and floured 9x5 loafpan. Place the pan in the hot oven,and bake the bread for 1 hr.

In this Video I have made simple Pitted Prunes muffins in under 10 minuites.
Here's the Recipe :
Ingredients :-
1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
¾ cup white sugar
½ teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons baking powder
⅓ cup vegetable oil
1 egg
⅓ cup milk, or more as needed
1 cup Pitted Prunes
1 ½ teaspoons ground cinnamon
Directions :-
Step 1:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Grease muffin cups or line with muffin liners.
Step 2:
Combine 1 1/2 cups flour, 3/4 cup sugar, salt and baking powder. Place vegetable oil into a 1 cup measuring cup; add the egg and add enough milk to reach the 1-cup mark. Mix this with flour mixture. Fold in Pitted Prunes. Fill muffin cups right to the top.
Step 3:
Bake for 20 to 25 minutes in the preheated oven, or until done.
Step 4 :
Enjoy the Delicious muffins you have made !!!

Here is the recipe in detail:
For 6 persons
TOTAL TIME: 110 mins
Preparation: 20 mins
Cooking: 90 mins
Ingredients :
1 Rabbit cut into pieces
1 Bottle of cider
350 g Pitted prunes
150 g Smoked bacon
1 onion
1 garlic clove
2 tbsp. Flour
75 g Butter
1 bouquet garni
Salt
Pepper
Step 1: In a casserole dish, brown the chopped onion and the bacon bits in 20 g of butter. Reserve them.
In their place, brown the pieces of rabbit in the remaining butter. Sprinkle with flour and stir for 1 min.
Step 2: For 1 glass of cider and scrape the bottom of the pan with a spatula to dissolve the cooking juices.
Return the bacon/onion mixture to the pan and add the rest of the cider, the pressed garlic and the bouquet garni. Lightly salt and pepper.
Step 3: Leave to simmer for 10 minutes until most of the alcohol evaporates, then cover and continue cooking for 30 minutes.
Add the prunes and cook for another 30 minutes. Serve hot with boiled potatoes.

Beautiful Chocolate Covered Prunes with Walnut Heart! Candy from Childhood!
Chocolate covered prunes:
2 cups of pitted prunes
1/2 cup of walnut whole or halfs
2 cups of semi sweet chocolate chips
1/3 cup of brandy or cognac
1/3 cup of white chocolate chips
Soak prunes in brandy overnight.
Next day remove excess brandy using paper towels.
Stuff prunes with walnuts and set aside.
Tamper chocolate in a double boiler.
Deep each stuffed prune in tempered chocolate using fork.
Lay each coated prune on the tray covered with foil.
Put coated candies in a fridge for only couple minutes to help set chocolate.
Melt white chocolate chips and pour into a piping bag.
Cut tiny corner and pipe out design on top of the dark chocolate.
Put in a fridge for another couple minutes.
Your candy is ready!
You can put it in a nice box for gift giving!
Enjoy!
The same way you can make chocolate covered apricots or cherries and stuff them with almonds!
