How To make Jamaican Rice and Peas with Coconut Milk
1 1/2 c cooked red kidney beans
: reserve liquid 2 cloves garlic :
chopped
1 1/4 c unsweetened coconut milk
: Water (enough to make 2 1/4 : cup combined liquid) 1 c rice
2 green onions -- chopped
1 sprig fresh thyme-(1 to 2)
: Salt to taste : Coarse black pepper to : taste Cook red kidney beans to package directions. Put cooked beans into a large saucepan or pot. Add chopped garlic. Measure all liquids, including reserved bean liquid, coconut milk and water enough to make 2 1/4 cups. Add the 2 1/4 cups of liquid to the beans and garlic in the pot. Add rice, crushed green onion, thyme, salt and pepper to taste. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat. Cover and cook for about 20 minutes or until all liquid is absorbed. 2 cups red kidney beans
5 cups rice
1 stalk scallions
3 tbsp fresh thyme
1 or 2 whole scotch bonnets Pepper
1 Tsp pimento/all spice
3 cloves garlic
1 Tbsp fresh ginger
2 Tsp salt
1 Tbsp All Purpose Season
1 tbsp unsalted butter
????Rice cook for around 45 minutes in total
????Peas can take over 1 hour to cook

Jamaican Rice & Peas, Using Canned Beans, ready in minutes
Jamaican Rice & Peas using Canned Beans and coconut milk, it's quick and easy but with the same great taste!
**Ingredients**
1 Can of Kidney Beans
1 Can Coconut milk, Powder or Cream
2 twigs Scallion & Thyme
4 cloves chopped garlic
Whole scotch bonnet pepper
Salt to taste
1 tbsp Jerk Seasoning or all purpose seasoning
1 tbsp Sugar (optional)
1 tbsp butter
3 cups Rice (rice of your choice)
*1 & 1/2 cups of liguid for every 1 cup of rice ratio
*Steam rice on very low heat as cooking too quickly will cause the pot to dry out and the rice will still be uncook
If Rice is uncook after the water dries out, add a bit more water cover with aluminum foil and allow to steam some more

????Seasonings
1 Tsp salt
1 Tsp all purpose season
1/2 Tsp black pepper
????Herbs
2 stalk Scallions
1 scotch bonnets Pepper
3 Tsp fresh thyme
1 can coconut milk
1 spoon butter
Rice cook for 30 minutes
Peas cook for over a 1 hour

JAMAICAN RICE AND PEAS RECIPE:
Ingredients:
1 cup dried red kidney beans
4-5 cups of water
1 small onion, chopped
2 scallions, chopped in two
½ green bell pepper, chopped
3 garlic cloves
6-8 pimento seeds (optional)
1 thyme spring
1 scotch bonnet pepper
½-1 tsp all-purpose seasoning
½ tsp onion powder
½ tsp garlic powder
1 tbsp unsalted butter or olive oil
Add salt and black pepper to taste
1 cup of coconut milk
2 cups long-grain white rice
***Feel free to add seasonings to your taste****
