1/2 c Chopped green pepper
1/4 ts Garlic powder
1 ts Vegetable oil
2 c Skin, cooked diced chicken
1/2 ts Salt
1/2 ts Pepper
1 1/2 ts Curry powder
28 oz Whole tomatoes, can
1 tb Worcestershire sauce
2 tb Chopped parsley
1/4 c Raisins
2 c Cooked rice
Cook onion, pepper, garlic powder in oil until onion tender, about 3 min. Add remaining ingredients, except rice, cook over low heat for 30 min. Serve over rice. Cal: 340 Fat: 1 2/5g.

EastIndian Chicken Khudi Curry Recipe/ Traditional Chicken Curry Recipe/ Showmerecipe.
Chicken Khudi is an authentic East-Indian traditional recipe made with chicken and potatoes cooked in a bottle masala and roasting the fresh coconut, and masala tamarind. Very quick, easy and delicious simple recipe to make.
Ingredients
• 1 kg Chicken cut into pieces
• 2 Potatoes sliced
• 2 tbsp Cooking oil
• 2 tbsp Bottle masala ( mix masala or curry powder)
• 2 tbsp Tamarind
• 1 tbsp Salt
Ingredients to make paste:
• 2 big onions
• 3 fresh green chillies
• 1 cup fresh coconut grated
• 1 ginger
• 7 cloves garlic
• 7 mint leaves
• 6 strig coriander leaves
Method:
• Roast masala :
• In a frying pan, dry roast the freshly grated coconut until lightly toasted. Remove from the pan and set aside. In the same pan, dry roast the onions, chilies.
• Transfer to a food processor or blender add to it ginger,garlic, coriander leaves, mint leaves and little water and blend until smooth. Set aside
• In a skillet add oil heat add the paste stir fry, add bottle masala mix thoroughly adding little water.
• Add chicken pieces stir-fry for two minutes until lightly browned on all sides.
• Add a cup of water, season with salt .
• Then add the chopped potatoes - make sure the potatoes are immersed in the water.
• Cover and cook for 20 minutes until the chicken is cooked and the potatoes are tender.
• Taste and adjust seasoning.
• Chicken Kuddi is ready to serve.
Tips:
Can substitute chicken to mutton.
If bottle masala is not available then can add mix masala or curry powder.

Ingredients:
900g (2 pounds) chicken breast, cut into cubes
2 onions
3 garlic cloves
1 tablespoon grated ginger
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 tablespoon curry powder
1.5 teaspoons salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
4 large tomatoes, chopped
1 can (400g/14oz) coconut cream/milk
½ teaspoon garam masala (optional)
Coriander, chopped – for garnish
Directions:
1. In a large pan heat oil. Add chopped onions and sauté until golden, over medium-low heat. stir occasionally.
2. When onions are golden add grated garlic and ginger. Stir and cook for 2 minutes. Add chopped tomatoes and cook, stirring occasionally, until soft. Add curry powder and cook, stirring, for 2 minutes. Add chicken breast, season with salt and pepper, cook for 5 minutes, until golden. Cover the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes more. Add water, cover and cook 10 minutes.
3. Add coconut milk/cream, season with garam masala and salt, stir, and cook until lightly thickens.
