How To make Chocolate Mint Layer Cake
1 c Mint-Chocolate Chips;Nestles
1 1/4 c ;water, divided
2 1/4 c Flour; Unbleached
1 t Salt
1 t Baking Soda
1/2 t Baking Powder
1 1/2 c Brown Sugar; Firmly Packed
1/2 c Butter, Softened
3 ea Eggs; Large
CHOCOLATE MINT FROSTING:
1/2 c Mint-Chocolate Chips;Nestles
1/4 c Butter
1 t Vanilla Extract
1/4 t Salt
3 c Confectioners' Sugar
6 T Milk
GARNISHES:
1 x Chocolate Leaves
1 x Chocolate Curls
1 x Chocolate Gratings
CAKE: Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. In a small saucepan, combine mint-chocolate chips and 1/4 cup of water. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until chips are melted and mixture is smooth. Cool 10 minutes. In medium bowl, combine flour, salt, baking soda, and baking
powder; set aside. In a large bowl, combine brown sugar and butter; beat until creamy. Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating well after each addition. Blend in chocolate mixture. Gradually beat in flour mixture alterantely with remaining 1 cup of water. Pour into 2 greased and floured 9-inch round baking pans. Bake at 375 degrees F. for 25 to 30 minutes, or until cakes test done. Coll completely on wire racks. Fill nd frost with Chocolate Mint Frosting. Garnish as desired. CHOCOLATE-MINT FROSTING: Combine over hot (not boiling) water, the mint-chocolate chips and butter. Stir until chips are melted and mixture is smooth. Stir in vanilla extract and salt. Transfer to a large bowl. Gradually beat in the confectioners' sugar alternately with milk; beat until smooth. (if necessary add more milk until desired consistency is reached.) GARNISHES: Use chocolate curls and grated chocolate on top of the cake. Form a ring of grated chocolate pieces around the outside edge and use the curls in the center. To make chocolate leaves, select several small leaves, wash and dry them and paint one side of them with melted chocolate. Chill until firm and peel the leaf off the chilled chocolate. Use as garnish.

How to make a Chocolate Mint Layer cake
Chocolate mint layer cake is terrifically popular! Surprisingly, the minty whipped cream filling with its rich chocolate icing is the perfect finale to a special meal. Excellent cake! So fresh and so moist!
you need:
4 oz. unsweetened chocolate
½ cup butter, softened
1 ¾ cups sugar
3 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 ¾ cups flour
¾ tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
¾ cup milk
½ cup water
for the filling:
1 cup heavy whipping cream
3 tbsp powdered sugar
⅛ tsp peppermint extract
green color food coloring, as desired
for the icing:
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
¼ cup butter, cubed
⅓ cup evaporated milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 ½ cups powdered sugar

薄荷巧克力千层糕
材料:
室温软化牛油 480克
*补充一下,视频中我用的是罐装牛油,我用450克,视频字幕写错了,请留意。
细砂糖 110克(甜度自己拿捏增减)
鸡蛋A 10粒
普通/中筋面粉 200克 (过筛)
*这里也要注意,如果是用块状牛油,面粉就只要170克。
小罐炼乳 388克
烘焙巧克力 250克,可可粉两大匙(隔水融化)
薄荷精 1 小匙
绿色食用色素 适量
八寸固底模具底部涂油铺油纸,大火烧开水后转中小火,蒸蛋糕时用铝箔纸盖模具,每层蒸20-25分钟,最后一层蒸30-45分钟。
每次蒸好一层,用竹签/牙签插入蛋糕,如果竹签没有沾到蛋糕渣,就表示熟了,如果有渣,就盖好放回蒸笼再蒸几分钟。

the recipe is different if you use different butter, if you use can butter, flour need to increase more, if you use cold butter, you need to decrease flour.

Peppermint chocolate layer cake
ingredients:
Butter 480g(rooms temperature)
*In video i'm using can butter so i only use 450g, sorry that I had write wrong weight on caption.
Caster sugar 110g (add or decrease as you like)
Gred A eggs 10 nos
Condensed milk 388g
Medium protein flour 200(sieve) if you using cold butter, - flour to 170g
Baking chocolate+ 2 tbsp coco powder (double boiled to melt it)
Peppermint Paste 5ml
Green food coloring few drops
8 inches unremovable square baking pan, brush butter on bottom and line a baking paper, High heat boiled water then turn to medium small fire to steam cake, cover mold with aluminum foil everytime steam cake, steam for 20-25 minutes, last level steam for 30-45 minutes, use stick to test cake cooked or not, if cake stick on stick means not cooked yet, put back to steamer to cook for few more minutes.

2 Cups All Purpose Flour
2 Cups Granulated Sugar
3/4 Cups Cocoa Powder
2 Teaspoons Baking Soda

Pinch of Salt
1 Teaspoon Instant Coffee Granules
1/2 Cup Vegetable Oil
1 Cup Buttermilk
1 Cup Hot Water
2 Large Eggs
2 Teaspoons Vanilla Extract
CHOCOLATE CHEESECAKE FILLING:
4 Teaspoons Gelatine
2 Tablespoons Hot Water
250g Cream Cheese
3/4 Cup fine sugar
600mL Whipping Cream
2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
200g Melted Dark Chocolate (use a chocolate you enjoy eating)
CHOCOLATE DRIP:
1 Cup Melted Dark Chocolate
1 Tablespoon Vegetable Oil
Lindt Excellence Dark Chocolate Mint Intense 100g block
