Ingredients ½ cup (3¾floz/115ml) milk. ½ cup (3¾floz/115ml) double cream. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1 egg. 3½ cups (18oz/497g) all-purpose flour. 5 teaspoons baking powder. ¼ teaspoon salt. ½ cup (4oz/115g) cold butter, finely diced. ¼ cup (2oz/60g) granulated sugar. 1¼ cups (7½oz/213g) chocolate chips.
Preheat the oven to 180°C/350°F/Gas Mark 4.
