How To make Chili Blanco Especial
Jim Vorheis 1 lb Dry White Northern Beans
5 1/4 c Chicken broth
2 Cloves garlic, minced
1 lg White onion, chopped
1 tb Ground white pepper
1 t Salt
1 tb Dried oregano
1 tb Ground cumin
1/2 ts Ground cloves
7 oz Can diced green chilies
5 c Diced cooked chicken breast
1 3/4 c Chicken broth
1 tb Diced jalapeno pepper
-(optional) 8 Flour tortillas
Condiments: Shredded Monterey Jack Sliced black olives Chunky salsa Sour cream Diced avocado
Soak beans in water to cover for 24 hours; drain. In crock pot or large kettle, combine beans, 5 1/4 cups chicken broth, garlic, onion, white pepper, salt, oregano, cumin and cloves. Simmer covered for at least 5 hours until beans are tender, stirring occasionally.
Stir in green chilies, diced chicken, and 1 3/4 cups chicken broth. For hotter taste, add jalapeno. Cover and simmer for 1 hour. To serve, line each bowl with 1 flour tortilla. Cut up some onions and peppers. Cook them in a big pot until soft. Dump in canned crushed or puréed tomatoes and undrained canned beans — roughly equal quantities is a good starting point, though I like extra tomato. Dump in a lot of spices until you like how it tastes — cumin + smoked paprika + oregano + garlic powder is a good basic blend. Simmer for about a half hour. If you want to be fancy, melt in a little dark chocolate. Eat and go do something else with your life.

Soup season is upon us and thanks to my special guest we are starting it off right. In this weeks' video not only am I sharing with you a vegan recipe, but a super easy, ultra poppin recipe. This recipe is great for vegans, vegetarians, meat eaters alike. I shared some chili with my non vegan coworkers and they loved it. Special shoutout to my girl heidi_nicole_88 for coming on the show and sharing.
DISCLAIMER: FRICHICK is not vegan. As mentioned in the video, this is a customizable recipe and each user is free to use the chicken alternative of their choice. I️ show how to make this with a vegan option (gluten shreds) and vegetarian option (frichik).

CROCKPOT: *If using a crockpot, add all of the ingredients into a slow cooker, and cook on low for 4 hours, or on high for 6 hours.
INSTAPOT: If using an Instapot, saute veggies the same in the bottom of your pot. Then, add all of the ingredients into the pot and cover. Cook on high pressure for 20 minutes. Vent, stir, and enjoy!
FULL LIST OF INGREDIENTS:

- 1 Rotisserie Chicken ( I only used half of a large one.)
- 32oz Chicken Broth
- 3 to 4 Tbsp Mexican Crema (OR PREFERABLY 1/4 Cup Heavy Cream or 4oz Cream Cheese)
- 1 15oz Can White Kidney Beans
- 1 15oz Can of Northern Beans
- 4oz Can Diced Green Chiles
- 1 Yellow Bell Pepper, Diced
- 1/2 White Onion, Diced
- 1.5 Cups Frozen Fire Roasted Corn (Equivalent to 1 Can)
- 1 Jalapeno Pepper, Diced
- 1 Tsp Minced Garlic
- 1 Tsp Seasoned Salt
-1 Tsp Onion Powder
- 1 Tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 Tsp Ground Cumin
- 1 to 2 Tsp Chili Powder
- Salt and Black Pepper to Taste
- Cilantro, Lime, Cheese, Tajin for Garnish
