How To make Cake Doughnuts
-Vegetable oil, for frying 3 1/3 c Flour, all-purpose
1 c Sugar
3 ts Baking powder
1/2 ts Salt
1/2 ts Cinnamon, ground
1/4 ts Nutmeg,ground
2 tb Shortening (I use Crisco)
2 Eggs
3/4 c Milk
Heat oil (2-3" deep) in deep-fat fryer or heavy kettle to 375. Beat 1 1/2 c. of the flour and the remaining ingredients in large mixer bowl, on low speed, scraping bowl constantly, 30 seconds. Beat on medium speed, scrape occasionally, 2 min. Stir in remaining flour. Turn dough onto well-floured cloth-covered board; roll around to lightly coat with flour. Roll gently 3/8" thick. Cut with floured doughnut cutter. Slide doughnuts into hot oil
with wide spatula. Turn doughnuts as they rise to surface. Fry until golden brown, 1-1 1/2 min. on each side. Remove from oil; do not prick doughnuts. Drain on paper towels. Serve plain, sugared, or frosted. 2 Dozen Doughnuts. I shake them in a bag of powdered sugar. MMMmmmmmmmmmm Good!!!! Only one problem with this recipe......it doesn't make enough!! These doughnuts are so good that once you start eating them, you can't stop! 5 tsp. Ube flavoring
2 cups all purpose flour
4 tsp. Baking powder
Chocolate coating
250 grams white or ube chocolate
Oil (2 tsp.- 1 tbsp. depends on chocolate brand)
Baking time and temp: 150°C for 12-15 minutes.

Cake Doughnuts how to Recipe Demonstration at Bakery
Makes 16 Cake Donuts
Recipe Ingredients:
Soft cake white Flour 684g
Baking powder 36g
Salt 3g
Sugar 114g
Butter 28g
White Shortening 86g
Egg 150g
Milk 311g
Method:
1. Add into bowl flour, baking powder, salt and all the fat
2 Now add into a 2nd bowl milk, eggs & sugar
3 Now whisk to dissolve the sugar
4. Now to lightly crumb up the fat with flour
5. Now put on to mixer
6. Now mix on 1st speed for 1 min
7. Now add in the liquid over 1 min
8. Now need the scrape down
9. Now mix for a further 2 min on 1st speed
10. Now ready to put onto table
11. Now cut into 2 parts & mould up lightly, roll out with pin to about 18mm thick, for cutting out with a ring cutter size 9 cm,
12. Now for traying up, dust with semolina
13. Now rest for around 10 min, some can go into the freezer if you want
14. Now for frying the cake donuts, 5 mins each side at 180 c / or bake them uncovered in the center of a preheated oven at 375˚F for 10-12 minutes or until lightly golden on top.
15. Well done bakers now cool on a tray & dip into castor sugar
