Best Bananas Foster with NO ALCOHOL
A bananas foster recipe sounds fancy, but it’s really just a tasty caramel sauce for ice cream, and incredibly easy to make at home. And you definitely don’t need alcohol to make a great bananas foster! Skip the rum and banana liqueur and add nuts instead, just a handful of pecans will knock this dessert out of the park. Bananas Foster Recipe - Bananas Foster Flambe - Banana Recipes
If you are looking for Desert Recipes, this Bananas Foster Recipe is not only one of the easiest Desserts, but has the WOW! factor to go along with it. No need to be a Chef to make this one. I used Grand Marnier to make my Bananas Foster Flambe to change things up a bit. Typically banana liqueur and rum are used in this recipe.
When making this recipe, make sure that you are ready to eat it immediately. Any longer than a minute or two and your ice cream will start to melt
Ingredients for Bananas Foster Flambe:
Keep in mind I made more than the recipe below
* 2 large bananas (4 mini bananas can be used as in this video)
* 3 Tbsp butter
* 3 Tbsp brown sugar
* 2 ounces of rum and 1 ounce banana liqueur (I used Grand
Marnier in place of both)
* a little dash of cinammon
* Vanilla Ice Cream
* Mint leaf as garnish (optional)
