Easy Keto Crepes Recipe [Only 5 Ingredients]
Crepes are the perfect compromise between a thick, heavy pancake and a thin, soft tortilla. You can eat them by the stack, turn them into a breakfast wrap, or transform them into a uniquely satisfying dessert.
However, along with pancakes and tortilla, traditional crepes rely on high-carb flours and sugary additions as well. This is why it’s best to make them yourself to keep your meal keto-friendly as you satisfy your crepe craving.
Simply replace the all-purpose flour and sugar for common keto substitutes, and you are just a few steps away from delicious keto crepes.
These keto crepes can be filled with pretty much anything, from meat & veggies to whipped cream & berries. Here are some of our keto-friendly crepe favorites:
* Keto Nutella Crepes — Spread 1-2 tablespoons of Keto Nutella ( on each crepe and fold it together. Top with sugar-free whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon.
* Snickerdoodle Keto Crepes — Fill with low-carb cookie butter ( a sprinkle of cinnamon, and a drizzle of keto-friendly maple syrup (
* Chocolate Keto Crepe Filling — Use our Keto Mocha Mousse recipe ( to make a satisfyingly creamy chocolate crepe filling.
* Berries and Cream Crepe — Sugar-free whipped cream, low-carb berries, keto yogurt, keto maple syrup, and cinnamon.
* Crepe with Keto Jam Filling — Low-carb Strawberry, Blackberry Chipotle, and Bacon Jam will all taste great in these keto crepes. Here's our favorite:
* Keto Crepe Cake — Rather than filling each crepe, layer your crepes on top of one another with a thin layer of your preferred keto filling in between.
* Savory Keto-friendly Crepes — Hold the sweetener, add your preferred seasonings to the batter, and wrap each crepe around your favorite meat or seafood recipe.

Hello and welcome back to in the kitchen with Matt. I am your host Matt Taylor. Today I am going to show you how to make crepes, or the French pronunciation I believe is crepe. I had a request to make a video on crepes, so here we go. Crepes are really easy to do, if I can do it, you can do it. Let’s get started. First some people like to do this in a blender, so I have a blender here, but I am going to do this with a hand mixer, you can use a stand mixer if you want, or you can use a whisk. But uh, let’s first start off with 2 eggs, 1 and 1 half cups of milk, this is 2 percent milk, but you can use 1 percent, or whole milk, if you like, 1 tsp. of oil this is canola oil, or you can use vegetable oil. Also some people like to substitute the oil with butter, take like a tablespoon of butter and melt it, and put it in there. All right I am going to blend this together well. And now I am going to add 1 cup of all-purpose flour, and 1 fourth tsp. of salt. And that is the base batter for crepes. If you are going to make a sweet crepe what I like to do, is I like to add 1 tsp. of vanilla extract, and one tablespoon of granulated sugar. If you are making a savory crepe, leave out the vanilla extract, leave out the sugar, and add an extra half tsp. of salt. Mix this together. There we go. Now if for some reason it is pretty lumpy and you can’t get the lumps out, you can throw this through a strainer. Now some people will chill this for about an hour in the refrigerator, I don’t do that, I don’t find it necessary, but you certainly can if you are having trouble with your batter. And now this batter is ready to go. All right I am going to turn the heat on the stove between medium and medium high. Now I just have an 8 inch non-stick skillet here, they do have a crepe skillet that you can buy, I will put a link down below if you want to get one of those, or they also have these little crepe making kits that you can get that are pretty cool, I will put a link down below in the description for those as well. Now once our pan is getting heated up, I am also going to take a little bit of butter, not a whole lot, and we will put it in the pan. I have ladle here and it holds about a quarter cup of batter, if you don’t have a ladle like this you can just use a quarter cup if you want, but this works really nicely.

00:00 Easy Keto Crepes Recipe with Almond Flour
Ingredients
100 grams Cream Cheese (1/2 Cup)
35 grams Almond Meal (4 Tablespoons)
60 grams Butter (4 Tablespoons)
6 Eggs
2 Tablespoons sweetener of your choice
Pinch of freshly grained Stevia - optional
1 teaspoon Cinnamon
Instructions
Add whole eggs to the bowl and mix them until whites and yolks are incorporated.
Once the eggs are thoroughly mixed, add all ingredients until fully combined.
Adding dry stevia, which we usually make at home, will help in achieving that pinch of sweetness you are looking for in keto crepes.
For easy cooking, I always transfer the batter into a taller container.
Prepare the plate on which you will place crepes. Get your smaller spoon for scooping, a flat spatula for flipping, oil, and nonstick pan.
With your small spoon, scoop the batter onto the preheated pan with a bit of oil.
Tilt the pan, and using a circular motion, spread the batter throughout the pan evenly to achieve a thin layer of almond flour crepe.
When you see the edges browning, that is the time to flip the crepe. Gently release one edge. Gently flip the crepes and let them brown on the other side. Use your fingers so that you can slide in the flat spatula.
Notes
Use a non-stick pan - Always use a nonstick pan. I tried this recipe on several occasions with an old pan and could not achieve the crepes as thin as those are. But a non-stick pan is here a must.
Heat the pan fully -Your pan needs to be fully heated before you add the oil. Otherwise, your crepes will stick, and you will not be able to flip them.
Mix - Mix the batter in between. It happens that almond flour might slowly settle at the bottom of the jar.
Oil - Use just the right amount of oil. Too much will make crepes too oily. Just a little bit of oil will go a long way.
Butter - can be replaced with coconut oil.
Swirl - Swirl the batter on the pan correctly. Pour the batter in the middle, let it sit for a second, and then spread it throughout the pan evenly with a circular motion.
Flip - Once the edges of the crepes start to brown, it is time to flip them.
Too Dry - add a few drops of almond milk.
Too clumpy - One of the ingredients needed to be at room temperature or soft enough. This happens mostly when either butter or cream cheese has a different temperature. Just place the batter for a few seconds into a microwave and mix again to get the smooth crepe batter.
