Whole Wheat Masala Cracker | Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana
Freshly baked masala crackers made with whole wheat flour.
WHOLE WHEAT MASALA CRACKER
Ingredients
1½ cups whole wheat flour (atta) + for dusting
Few fresh coriander sprigs
2-3 garlic cloves
1-2 green chillies
Salt to taste
1 tablespoon dried yeast
1 tablespoon castor sugar
1 tablespoon oil
Method
1. Blend together coriander sprigs, garlic cloves and green chillies with some water to a fine paste.
2. Put wheat flour in a bowl and add salt. Mix and make a well in it, add yeast, castor sugar and some warm water. Mix and let the yeast activate.
3. Mix well, add prepared paste and knead. Add some water and knead again. Add oil and knead to a semi-stiff dough. Set aside to rest for 10-15 minutes.
4. Preheat oven to 180º C.
5. Divide the dough into equal portions, dust with some flour and roll out into thin discs. Use a flower shaped cookie cutter and cut out crackers from them.
6. Prick all over with a fork and transfer on a baking tray. Put the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes.
7. Remove from heat, cool and serve or store in airtight container.

How to make HEALTHY HOMEMADE CRACKERS! (100% whole-wheat!)
Crackers make everything better…
Prep time: 10m
Cook time: 12-15m
Total time: about 30m
Ingredients:
3 cups whole-wheat flour
1 teaspoon salt
2 tsp honey
4 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1 cup water
Seasonings of choice (I used salt, pepper, Italian herbs, and sesame seeds!)
Directions:Preheat your oven to 400°F
Line a baking sheet(s) with parchment paper
In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, salt, honey, olive oil and water
Mix until the ingredients form one uniform dough
Separate into two dough bundles for easier rolling
On a floured surface, roll out each dough ball as thinly as possible
Lightly brush the thin dough with water so that your seasoning sticks
SeasonUsing a pizza cutter or knife, cut the dough into your desired cracker shapes
Place the crackers onto your baking sheet(s)
Poke each cracker with a fork twice so that they don’t bubble in the oven
Bake for 12-15m or until lightly browned on top
Enjoy hot or let cool and serve! :)

Homemade Graham Crackers
Today I'm going to show you how to make graham crackers at home.
These healthy graham crackers are made with less sugar and less fat than regular.
Oatmeal graham crackers are great as a snack, but they're also good as a breakfast.

HOMEMADE GRAHAM CRACKERS RECIPE
(makes 15 crackers)
Ingredients:
1 cup ground oats or oat flour (100g)
1 cup whole wheat flour (100g)
1 tbsp tapioca or cornstarch
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt
3 tbsp butter (45g)
3 tbsp unsweetened applesauce
1/4 cup honey or maple syrup (60ml)
NUTRITIONAL INFO (per cracker):
92 calories, fat 2.8g, carb 15g, protein 1.7g
Preparation:
In a mixing bowl, mix the dry ingredients (oats, whole wheat flour, cornstarch, baking soda, cinnamon and salt). Grate the cold butter and mix it in.
On a side, combine the wet ingredients, applesauce and honey.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry mixture, and mix with a wooden spoon, until the dough starts to form. Cover and let it rest for 10 minutes.
Transfer the dough onto a working sufrace and gently press couple of times.
Roll out the dough between two pieces of parchment paper.
Cut into crackers using a ruller and pizza cutter. Transfer the whole sheet into a baking tray, and give it a quick freeze (10-15 minutes).
Bake at 350F (180C) for 15 minutes. Let it cool in the tray for 10 minutes, then transfer onto a cooling rack.
