How To make Unleavened Seed Cake
1 c Butter
2 c Sugar
4 Eggs
1/2 c Milk
OR 2 Tbsp sweetened -condensed milk diluted With 6 Tbsp water 1/2 ts Salt
1/2 c Chopped nuts
1 ts Vanilla
OR 1 tsp almond flavoring 1/8 ts Mace
1 ts Caraway seed
1/2 c Chopped candied orange peel
3 c Flour
Cream butter and sugar, add well beaten egg yolks and milk. Add flavoring and mace. Sift flour, measure, and sift with salt. Add caraway seed, candied orange peel, and nuts to first mixture. Beat thoroughly. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites. Pour into well-oiled loaf pan. Bake in slow oven (350 F) about 1 hour. Florence Taft Eaton, Concord, MA. -----

Sprinkles Cake Batter Unleavened Bread
*(dry ingredients)*
All purpose flour (2 cups)
Sugar (2 cups)
Pinch of salt
Sprinkles
*(wet ingredients)*
Vanilla (1 -2 tablespoons)
Unsalted Butter (3 sticks)
Eggs (3 eggs)
Half of Condensed milk
Half of cream cheese
McCormick Cake batter flavoring
Items needed:
-1 big bowl
-1 small bowl **to whisk the butter/cream cheese/condensed milk
-Set Oven to (350) and cook for 45 minutes
-Electric hand mixer (it makes it easier to mix, but you can use what you have to stir)
-9x13 pan (spray oil)
-1 flat silicone spatula
✨✨✨Steps ✨✨✨
1. (Wet mix) In the small bowl place: half of the cream cheese, 3 sticks of butter room temperature are best (but if you forget, as I do sometimes, place in the microwave for 1 minute so it can get soft along with the cream cheese BUT don’t melt 100%, leave somewhat liquid and somewhat melted once heated let it cool down for a few seconds so it won’t splash on you). Once taking out, use the whisk and mix together then add the condensed milk (half). Mix all items together.
2. (Dry mix) In the big bowl, place and mix: 2 cups of flour, 2 cups of sugar, and pinch of salt. Mix all items together. Add 3 eggs to the dry mix after you’ve completed step 1. Add wet mix to dry mix.
3. Get electric mixer (put it on 1), and mix all items together.
4. Add to the all mix ingredients: vanilla and cake batter flavoring and sprinkles. And mix all together.
5. Place final mixed ingredients in the pan.
6. Place in the center of the oven to cook evenly.
**One it’s finished baking, take it out and let it cool down for at least 10 minutes before cutting into it.

SMOOTH THE DOUGH
TAKE SOME DOUGH
ROLL
CUT WITH A BOWL OR CUTTER
PLACE IN A FRYPAN
FRY BOTH SIDE WELL
