Toast Pecans in Oven: Toasted Pecans 3 Ways
Headline: Toast Pecans in Oven! You can eat pecans raw, you can fuss with complicated recipes, BUT this video explains how to make toasted pecans 3 ways. They taste better than raw and they'll be ready faster than most other recipes for pecans. I'm betting that, like me, you will fall in love with the Rosemary Spiced Pecans. They are the perfect combination of spicy and sweet, salty and savory. You can serve them straight out of the oven as an appetizer, have them on standby as a nutritious snack or package some of them up as a hostess gift. Pecans made this way tend to be popular at the holidays, but I make them all year round. If you would like to learn how to toast nuts, these are the best methods to use! You don't have to stick to pecans because all three of these methods work with any nut or mix of nuts.
If you'd rather not do any cooking today, you could try these raw, no-bake energy balls, also made with pecans: chickpea.link/PecanBalls.

How to Toast Pecans:
• Dry, in oil or follow the recipe below.
• For all of these options, cook on cookie pan at 350F for 5-10 minutes, checking after 5 and 8 minutes.
Rosemary Spiced Pecans:
Ingredients:
2 ½ cups pecans
2 tbs vegan butter
At least 2 heaping tbs fresh rosemary, finely chopped
1 tsp cumin
¼ tsp cayenne pepper
1-2 tsp salt
¼ tsp pepper
1 tbs date sugar
1 ½ tsp maple syrup
Preparation:
1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a medium sized mixing bowl, stir together the pecans, cumin, cayenne, salt, pepper and date sugar.
3. Melt the butter in a medium sized sauté pan at medium low heat. Stir in the chopped rosemary and cook for about a minute.
4. Remove from heat and stir in maple syrup.
5. Add the pecan mixture to the pan and stir to completely coat.
6. Preheat oven to 350F.
7. Transfer all the mixed together ingredients to the baking sheet. Spread them out so they're in a single layer.
8. Bake 5-10 minutes or until they a little chewy when you test. You can shake the pan part way through to help them get more evenly cooked. Don't overcook - there's an aftercook too when they're cooling on the pan.
9. Allow the pecans to cool on the pan completely or serve them warm!

Best Salted Buttered Roasted Pecans Recipe | Easy Super Bowl Snack | See Major Cooking Screw-up!
Roasted, buttery, salted pecans? Delicious, easy to make for a crowd, what could be a better game day snack while watching football on a Saturday afternoon?! This recipe is mouth-watering...for any day, any crowd, any excuse!
Also the best homemade Christmas present ever!
BTW yes, those blackened nuts coming out of the oven are NOT supposed to look that way! Do NOT get distracted and leave these in too long. They are usually foolproof and beautiful. Unbelievably, these were still tasty (if a little too crunchy), but there is still no excuse. Do as I said, not as I did. Follow the recipe exactly!! (Loyal HFK followers know all too well that this is the show that screws up so you don't have to!)

SOUTHERN STYLE BUTTER ROASTED PECANS!! FEATURING YORK PECAN COMPANY!!
Use this link to get 10% off your purchase at York Pecan Company!
Today we are sharing a super simple yet delicious snack! Southern style butter roasted pecans hit all the notes if you are a fan of the salty snack! These are toasty, salty, buttery and just plain delicious! These are very simple to make and even easier to eat! These are going to add the perfect crunch to your salads or added to the top of ice cream with a drizzle of caramel. These are also delicious options for snacking if you are on a low carb diet! If you make these, don't expect them to hang around long!
Today I am using pecans from the York Pecan Company in our recipe today. It was kismet that they contacted all their customers with a question and asked for a reply. So I did and they reached out and said they had checked out the channel and could they send me their Valentine bundle, which I had already planned on purchasing so I said absolutely so I could share it with you! They are a family owned pecan company from Arkansas and they know what they are doing! Their pecan halves and mammoth pecan halves were used in my holiday baking as well as their pecan pieces. Top quality and taste! If you are a pecan lover, I highly recommend you give them a try. Getting one of their bundles is a great way to sample what they have to offer and I am here to tell you that their chocolate, cinnamon and salted caramel pecans do not disappoint! Perfect for sharing for the holidays or just because! They have been generous enough to give us a coupon code that you can find at the top of this post in the link to their page where you will be able to enjoy 10% off any purchase. I hope you will give them a try!
These butter roasted pecans are three ingredients to delicious! I have used a stick of melted butter, one pound of pecan halves and a generous sprinkling of salt. The pecans were tossed with the melted butter and I gave them two generous pinches of salt and tossed that in as well. The nuts were spread on a very clean baking sheet in a single layer and then popped into a 350 degree oven for 10 minutes. If you prefer your pecans a bit more toasty, keep them in longer, but keep a watchful eye on them so they don't burn and all your effort is for naught! Take them out, and allow them to cool for a few minutes before tasting for salt and then add more or leave them as is. Allow them to cool completely before transfering to an air tight container. These will store for up to one week on your counter but they won't last that long once your family gets a taste, I promise!
I hope you will give these southern style butter roasted pecans a try and I hope you love them. I hope you will also check out the good folks at York Pecan Company! Be sure to use the link listed above to get your discount.
Happy Eating!
