I made up this recipe the other day from items found in my cupboards and pantry.

Sweet & Sour Pasta Surprise
300 grams pasta
2 Chicken Breasts
2 cups Chicken Stock
1 1/2 cups of veggies
2 Tbsp Soy Sauce
1 can pineapple & 1/2 cup Juice
seasoning to taste
Approx. 6 serves
You can add anything you like - it's a surprise remember.... the kids loved it!

INGREDIENTS
8 oz macaroni noodles (227g)
1/2 cup finely diced sweet gherkins usually 4-6 sweet gherkins for me (80g)
3/4 cup finely diced red bell pepper about 1/2 pepper (100g)
1/3 cup thinly sliced celery about 1-2 stalks (55g)
1/3 cup finely diced red onion (45g)
2 large hard boiled eggs, finely diced
Dressing
3/4 cup mayonnaise I use olive oil mayo (175g)
1/4 cup sour cream (70g)
2 Tablespoons sweet pickle juice
1 Tablespoon red wine vinegar
1 Tablespoon granulated sugar
2 teaspoons dijon mustard
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
1/8 teaspoon crushed red pepper optional
Instructions

00:13 Prepare macaroni noodles according to package instructions. Drain and rinse immediately with cold water, then drizzle with a teaspoon of olive oil and gently stir so the noodles don’t stick together as they sit.
00:35 In a large bowl, combine macaroni noodles, sweet pickles, red pepper, celery, red onion, and eggs. Stir until well combined. Set aside and prepare your dressing.
For the dressing
01:20 To prepare your macaroni salad dressing, combine mayonnaise, sour cream, red wine vinegar, sweet pickle juice, sugar, dijon mustard, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and crushed red pepper (if using) in a medium-sized bowl. Whisk until ingredients are well-combined.
01:59 Pour dressing over your macaroni salad ingredients and toss until well-combined.For best flavor, cover bowl and allow macaroni salad to chill for at least one hour. Stir once more before serving and enjoy!

2cups of past shells
1/2 CUP OF SUGAR. (you can reduce)
1/3 of vinegar
1 tbsp of any curry powder.
1 tsp of Paprika
1 cup of tomato sauce/ketchup
Bell peppers
1 onion
1/2cup of oil
1 tsp of cayenne pepper or any spice
Chilli (Optional)

Ingredients
Shell pasta ½ packet
Tomato ketchup 1 cup
Pineapple cubes 1 tin
Cucumber sliced 2
Carrot sliced 2
Capsicum sliced 2
Boiled almond 10
Parsley as required
Black pepper crushed ½ tbsp
Brown sugar 2 tbsp
Salad oil 2 tbsp
Lemon juice 2 tbsp
Brown vinegar 3 tbsp
Oil for stir frying 2-3 tbsp
Salt to taste
Cooking Directions
In a large pot of boiling, salted water cook the pasta to al dente.
Drain, place in a large bowl and set aside.
To make the dressing mix together tomato, ketchup, brown vinegar, brown sugar, salad oil and salt.
Place the drained pasta in a large bowl.
Finely slice cucumber, carrot and capsicum.
Mix with the pasta along with the pineapple chunks.
Pour the dressing over the pasta.
Add lemon juice, black pepper, salt and chopped parsley.
Gently mix the salad cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Before serving garnish with stir fried almonds.
