How To make Spicy Meat Pies with Yogurt Sauce
SAUCE:
1 c Plain yogurt
1/2 ts Dried mint leaves
1/4 ts Salt
FILLING:
1/2 lb Ground lamb or beef
1/2 c Chopped onion
1/4 c Shredded carrot
2 tb Pine nuts or slivered
-almonds 2 tb Chopped fresh parsley
1/2 ts Dried mint leaves
1/4 ts Dried oregano leaves
1/4 ts Salt
1/8 ts Pepper
1 ts Grated lemon peel
1 tb Lemon juice
1 Garlic clove, minced
BISCUITS:
1 Can Pillsbury Grands!
-Refrigerated Buttermilk -or Flaky Biscuits 1 ts Sesame seed
In small bowl, combine all sauce ingredients. Let stand while making meat pies. Heat oven to 375 degrees. In large skillet over medium heat, cook lamb and onion until meat is no longer pink and onion is tender, stirring occasionally; drain. Add remaining filling ingredients; cook and stir for one minute. Remove from heat. Separate dough into 8 biscuits. Press or roll each biscuit into 5 inch circle. Place scant 1/4 c filling in center of each biscuit. Fold dough over filling to form half circle. Press edges together, seal with fork. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Sprinkle tops with sesame seeds; lightly press into biscuits. Bake for 13 to 15 minutes or until golden brown. Immediately remove from cookie sheet. Serve hot meat pies with sauce. (1 cup sauce)

نص كيلو لحم مفروم ناعم
٢ حبة بندوره
١ بصلة
أربع حبات ثوم
١ فلفل أخضر
البهارات: ملح / فلفل أسود/قرفة/بابريكا/سبع بهارات
٢ ملعقة دبس رمان
٢ ملعقة زيت نباتي
مكونات صوص اللبن
١ كوب من اللبن الزبادي
ربع كوب طحينة
عصير ليمونه

تعليمات :
- تطحن الخضراوات بمحضرة الطعام ثم نضيفهم فوق اللحمة المفرومه ونضيف البهارات ودبس الرمان والزيت النباتي وتخلط جيدا .
-يقسم الخبز الصغير لقسمين ثم يحشى بالكفتة.
- تشوح حبات العرايس من جميع الجهات .
-يحضر صوص اللبن بإضافة الطحينة والملح ، الليمون وثوم وتحرك جيدا .
- في صحن التقديم توضع العرايس وصوص اللبن في المنتصف وتزين باللوز او الصنوبر مع الرمان والبقدونس.
Ingredients
500 grams of minced meat
2 tomatoes
1 onion
Four grains of garlic
1 green pepper
Spices: salt / black pepper / cinnamon / paprika / seven spices
2 tablespoons of pomegranate molasses
2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
Yogurt sauce ingredients
1 cup of yogurt
A quarter cup of tahini
Lemon juice
salt
garlic
directions :
Grind the vegetables in a food processor, then place them on top of the minced meat. Add the spices, pomegranate molasses and vegetable oil and mix well.
- Divide the small bread into two parts, then stuff it with the kofta.
- Fry the kofta pies on all sides
- Prepare the yogurt sauce by adding tahini, salt, lemon and garlic and stir well.
- In the serving dish, place the pies kofta and yogurt sauce in the middle, and decorate with almonds or pine nuts, pomegranate and parsley.

Greetings friends! Today we continue the Muajannat/Sfeeha series with traditional Palestinian meat pies. These are a huge crowd pleaser, very simple but with a lovely complex flavor. Perfect for a snack, side, picnics... It's everyone's favorite. I used Beyond meat on this day, but if you want to use lamb (preferred) or beef, the method is identical. As always, Sahtein!

Ingredients
1 pound (#4 or #7) phyllo pastry, thawed
6 oz (170g) butter, melted
1 and 1/3 pound (600g) ground beef
salt, to taste
freshly cracked black pepper, to taste
1 large onion, finely chopped
3-4 tablespoons olive oil
2-3 garlic cloves, grated
1 teaspoon dried thyme or oregano
5-6 scallions, thinly sliced
2 tablespoons finely chopped parsley
1 Serrano chili pepper or a jalapeño (optional)
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350 °F, 180 °C.
Cook the onion with olive oil and a pinch of salt over medium heat until soft and golden. About 8 minutes.
Add the garlic and warm through until fragrant.
Add the ground beef to the skillet and season with salt and pepper. Cook over medium heat while breaking up the meat. About 10 minutes or until the beef is cooked through. Remove from the heat and add the thyme, parsley, scallions, and chili pepper. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
Mix together and set aside.
Cut the phyllo into 3 equal portions.
Layer two strips of phyllo on top of each other and drizzle melted butter in betwen the layers and on top.
Place a tablespoon of the filling on the bottom of the strip and fold up into a triangle. Place on a baking tray that has been greased.
Brush the tops of the beef pies with the melted butter and bake on the center rack of the preheated ovem for 45-60 minutes or until golden and crisp.
Serve with tzatziki sauce. Kali Orexi!

Make Ahead Freezer Instructions: Assemble the pies and place in the freezer until frozen solid. Wrap the tray with plastic wrap and keep frozen for up to 3-4 months. Bake the pies frozen at 350 °F until golden. About an hour.Music Used:

230g ground beef
1 egg
salt to taste
black pepper to taste
paprika
mix well
50g chopped onion
15g green onion
15ml olive oil
Mix well
Tortilla(23cm)
Fold and unfold the tortilla in half
Take some of the meat fillings
Put the filling on the tortilla
Spread the beef on half of the tortilla evenly
Sprinkle some mozzarella cheese
Fold the tortilla in half
Tortilla(17cm)
You can also make it with smaller tortillas
Fold than unfold in quarters
Cut the tortilla like this
Spread the beef filling on 3/4 of the tortilla like this
Fold the tortilla like this
Repeat

Spread the oil every in the pan
Fry the tortilla for 5 minutes
Flip and fry for another 5 minutes
The color should be golden brown

Flip then fry for 8 minutes
Add 1tbsp water in the pan
Done!
