How To make Sausage Triangles
8 oz Pork sausage
1/2 lb Mushrooms, diced
1/4 lb Monterey Jack, shredded
1/2 c Butter, melted
1/3 16oz pkg frozen phyllo
In 10" skillet over medium-high heat, cook pork sausage and mushrooms until meat is well browned and mushrooms are tender, stirring occasionally. With slotted spoon, remove sausage mixture to paper towels to drain. In large bowl, mix sausage mixture and shredded cheese. With knife, cut phyllo lengthwise into 2" wide strips. Place strips on waxed paper; then cover with slightly damp paper towel to prevent phyllo from drying out. Place 1 strip of phyllo on work surface; brush top lightly with melted butter. Place about 1 teaspoon sausage mixture at end of strip. Fold one corner of strip diagonally over filling so that short edge meets the long edge of the strip, forming a right angle. Continue folding over at right angle. Continue folding over at right angles until you reach the end of the strip to form a triangular-shaped package. Place package, seam-side down, in 15 1/2" X 10 1/2" jelly-roll pan; brush with butter. Repeat with remaining phyllo strips and sausage mixture. If not serving right away, cover with foil and refrigerate. To serve, preheat oven to 425oF. Bake triangles 15 minutes or until golden. Makes about 3 1/2 dozen hors d'oeuvres. Each triangle: About 50 calories, 4 g fat, 5 mg cholesterol, 90 mg sodium. TO FREEZE AND USE UP TO 1 MONTH LATER: Place unbaked triangles in freezer container with waxed paper between each layer; seal; label: and freeze. About 35 minutes before serving, preheat oven to 425oF. Arrange frozen triangles on un-greased jelly-roll pan and bake 20 minutes or until triangles are golden. Pinch of baking soda
Boil for 5 mins
Grease the stick with oil
All purpose flour 1/4 cup
Salt to taste
Chilli powder to taste
Water 1/3 cup
Mix well
Coat with breadcrumbs
Fry until golden brown
NOTE: 1 CUP = 250 ML

Sausage Flower Bread
Ingredients for dough:
All-purpose flour 1¾ cups
Unsalted butter 3 tbsp
Lukewarm milk ½ cups
Sugar 2 tbsp
Active dry yeast 2 tsp
Egg 1
Salt ½ tsp
K&N’s Frankfurter Sausages 720 g
For Topping:
Canned corn ⅓ cup
Green bell pepper ⅓ cup (Chopped)
Onion ⅓ cup (Chopped)
Carrots ⅓ cup (Chopped)
Olives (sliced) ⅓ cup
Mayonnaise ½ cup
Salt 1/4 tsp or to taste
Black pepper powder ½ tsp
Mustard Paste 1 tbsp
Mozzarella cheese (grated) 1 cup
Tomato ketchup (as required)
Egg 1 (for egg wash)
Directions for Topping Preparation:
1. In a bowl add mayo, carrot, capsicum, onion, sweet corn, olives, mustard paste, salt, black pepper and mix well. Your topping is ready.
Directions for Dough Preparation:
1. Prepare K&N’s Frankfurter sausage as per instructions on the pack. Set aside.
2. In a bowl add melted butter, milk and sugar. Stir it well until the sugar dissolves. Add the yeast and let it sit for a few minutes until it gets foamy. Then and the salt and egg. Mix it well.
3. Add all-purpose flour and knead a smooth dough. Let it rest until double in size.
4. Take the prepared dough and divide it into 6 equal parts.
6. Take out a dough ball and put it on the plain surface. Press it down with your hands and shape it into a rectangle and place a K&N’s Frankfurter Sausage on it.
8. Roll the sausage in dough covering it completely from all sides.
10. Place half horizontal cuts on the roll making sure you don’t cut till base of the roll. The cuts should be ½ inch wide.
11. Gently lift the cut section up, push it to the left, Cut the K&N’s Frankfurter sausage again another ½ inch down and gently move the cut section to the right. Keep doing this with the remaining roll until it starts looking like a leaf.
12. Add the prepared topping on it, add cheese and brush egg on the dough.
13. Bake the sausage-bread in a preheated oven at 175°C for 20-25 minutes until the dough turns light golden brown and fluffy.
14. Drizzle ketchup on each bread and serve.
Preparation Time: 30 mins
Cooking Time: 30 mins
