Pasta With Crab And Basil
Here is a quick and easy dish to make under 30 minutes. It's spaghetti with crab and basil. If you don't have spaghetti in your pantry, any long pasta will work, such as fettuccine or linguine. Also if you don't have crab meats, you can use canned tuna, or prawns. When you don't have much time to make dinner, don't order take out, make this dish! It's fast, simple and fulfilling.
INGREDIENTS:
350g Spaghetti (or fettuccine/linguine)
2 tablespoon olive oil
2 tablespoon garlic, chopped
1/2 teaspoon chili flakes
250g grapes tomatoes (or cherry tomatoes)
1 1/2 lemon, zest and juice
200g white crab meat (or canned tuna/prawns/chicken)
2 tablespoon capers
1/2 teaspoon black peppers
Handful of fresh basil leaves
FOR THE BREAD CRUMBS TOPPING:
2 tablespoon butter, unsalted
3 tablespoon bread crumbs
3 tablespoon cilantro (or Italian flat leave parsley)
1 tablespoon good quality olive oil to drizzle over pasta before serving

15 Minute Delicious Crab Linguine
Delicious crab linguine pasta recipe made in the time it takes to cook pasta. If you have your ingredients ready you can make this dish in 15 minutes. Get your water boiling first, if you cover it will be quicker. I usually use the serving plates that way they also warm up, just rotate them. While the water is boiling, prep your ingredients and start frying your ingredients. Toss in your pasta and voila! A restaurant meal served in 15 minutes. Try and get an Uber Eats delivered that fast! I used ready to eat cooked frozen crab, but of course you could buy fresh which is a little more work, or canned. Ingredients (US & METRIC):
400g/ 14 oz linguine
1 tbsp olive oil
30g/ ¼ stick unsalted butter
2 cloves garlic, finely sliced
1 red chilli, deseeded & finely chopped
Finely grated zest of a lemon and a good squeeze of juice
2 courgettes, julienned or coarsely grated
50g/ 2 oz brown crab meat
200g/ 7 oz white crab meat
3 tbsp finely chopped chervil or parsley
Sea salt and freshly ground pepper
