How To make Rice and Broccoli Casserole
1/2 c Onion; chopped 1 pk Broccoli; frozen
1/2 c Celery; chopped 1 cn Soup, cream of mushroom
2 tb Oleo 1 cn Soup, cream of chicken
1 c Rice 1/2 lb Pasteurized process cheese
Servings: 6 Saute onion and celery in oleo until soft. Cook rice and broccoli sepa- rately according to package directions. Mix all ingredients together in a two-quart baking dish. 2 cups cooked basmati rice
4 cups broccoli
3-4 tbsps butter
1 diced onion
1 tsp roasted garlic base
1 tbsp dijon mustard
2 tbsps flour
2 cups half and half or heavy cream
2 tbsps sour cream
1 cup grated parmesan cheese
1 cup monterey jack cheese
celery salt, smoked paprika, all purpose seasoning
1.5 cups colby jack cheese
1 cup crushed garlic butter ritz crackers
diced parsley
Bake in oven at 350 for 45 minutes.

INGREDIENTS
2 Tbsp (30 ml) cooking oil
1 cup long-grain rice (rinsed)
1/2 small onion (diced)
1 celery stick (diced)
1 to 2 cloves fresh garlic (minced)
2 cups (473 ml) water
1 Tbsp (10 to 14 g) chicken bouillon powder
10 oz (283 g ) frozen chopped broccoli (thawed)
4 oz (113.5 g) American processed cheese
4 to 6 oz (113 to 170 g) sharp cheddar cheese
1/4 to 1/2 tsp black pepper
* buttered 2.7 Quart baking dish or 8 x 12
**CREAM SAUCE**
2 Tbsp (30 ml) cooking oil
8 oz mushrooms (diced)
2 Tbsp (28 g) unsalted butter
3 Tbsp ( 27 to 30 g) all-purpose flour
1 Tbsp (10 to 14 g) chicken bouillon powder
1 1/2 cups (375 ml) water
1 cup (236.5 ml) heavy cream

INGREDIENTS
1 cup long grain rice (uncooked)
16 oz chicken broth
1 small onion
1 to 2 cloves garlic
2 tbls oil
10.5 oz can condensed cream of chicken (or cream of mushroom)
4 oz or 1/2 cup milk
4 tbsp butter (melted)
8 oz block of sharp cheddar cheese
16 oz frozen chopped broccoli (thawed)
pepper to taste
**BAKE @ 350 degrees F for 35 to 40 minutes covered
**uncover and continue to bake for 10 to 15 minutes
**be sure to completely thaw frozen broccoli for a more even bake

-2 packs of frozen broccoli and cheese
-1 package of boneless skinless chicken tenderloins
-1 can of cream of mushroom soup
-1 can of cream of chicken soup with herbs
-Colby jack cheese
-Mild cheddar cheese
-2 packages of Knorr cheddar broccoli rice
-Country crock butter (2 tablespoons)
-Chicken stock (2 cups)
