How To make Omelets
4 Eggs
4 tb Milk or light cream
1/4 ts Salt
Few grains pepper 1 tb Butter or margarine
1. In a medium-sized bowl combine eggs, milk, salt and pepper; beat until
well blended. 2. Melt butter in a 10-inch, heat-resistant, non-metallic pie pan in
Microwave Oven 30 seconds. Rotate pan so it is completely coated with butter. 3. Pour egg mixture into pie pan and cover tightly with plastic wrap.
4. Heat in Microwave Oven 1 1/2 minutes.
5. With a rubber spatula or fork, move cooked eggs toward center.
6. Heat, covered with plastic wrap, in Microwave Oven 1 1/4 minutes.
7. Let stand, covered, at least 1 1/2 minutes.
8. Loosen egg from pie pan with a rubber spatula. Fold omelet in half and
place on a heat-resistant, non-metallic serving platter. If omelet is not cooked enough, return omelet to Microwave Oven for an additional 30 seconds to 1 minute. Variations: Cheese Omelet: Sprinkle omelet with 1/2 cup shredded cheese after Step 6. Cover and return to Microwave Oven for an ad-ditional 30 seconds to melt cheese. Continue with Step 7. Bacon Omelet: Cook bacon before preparing omelet. Crumble bacon into egg mixture during Step 1. If desired, some of the bacon drippings may be used in place of the butter. Western Omelet: Add 1/4 cup chopped onion 1/4 cup chopped green pepper and 1/4 cup diced ham to egg mixture during Step 1 Heat an additional 1 minute
during Steps 4 and 6. Onion Omelet: Add 1/2 cup sauteed onions to egg mixture during Step 1.

MASALA OMELETTE with ALOO BHUJIA/POTATO FRIES
Preparation time : 15 minutes
Cooking time : 20-25 minutes
Servings : 2
Ingredients
For Aloo Bhujia
2 tbsp Oil (तेल)
1 tsp Cumin Seeds (जीरा)
1 inch Ginger - chopped (अदरक)
2-3 Garlic - chopped (लहसुन)
2-3 medium Potatoes - julienned (आलू)
Salt to taste (नमक स्वादानुसार)
½ tsp Turmeric Powder (हल्दी पाउडर)
3 fresh Green Chillies - chopped (हरी मिर्च)
Water (पानी)
For Masala Omelet
1 tbsp Butter (मक्खन)
1 small Onion - chopped (प्याज)
1 fresh Green Chillies - chopped (हरी मिर्च)
Salt to taste (नमक स्वादानुसार)
½ small Tomato - chopped (टमाटर)
2 Eggs (अंडे)
1 tbsp Coriander Leaves - chopped (धनिया पत्ता)
For Charred Tomato
½ tbsp Oil (तेल)
½ medium Tomato - cut in half (टमाटर)
Salt to taste (नमक स्वादानुसार)
For Garnish
Fresh Coriander Leaves (ताजा धनिया पत्ता)
Process
For Aloo Bhujia
In a kadai heat oil, add cumin seeds and let it splutter.
Add ginger, garlic and saute on medium flame.
Add potatoes, salt to taste, turmeric powder and saute well.
Add green chilli, cover it with the lid and cook on medium flame.
Onces it's cooked, transfer it into a serving dish with masala omelet and charred tomato.
Garnish it with coriander leaves and serve hot.
For Masala Omelet
In a bowl, break two eggs and beat it properly.
Add coriander leaves and mix it well.
In a pan, add butter, onion, green chilli and saute it well.
Add tomatoes and transfer the beaten eggs into the pan mix well.
Cook on medium flame from both the sides.
For Charred Tomato
Cut the tomato into half season it with salt on top of it.
In a pan, add oil, place the season tomato into the pan and cook until it's brown in color.

Baked Omelet Recipe (Pinwheel Omelets)

I already have a similar blog post on these baked omelets, but since I was making these for brunch I thought what the heck, make a video! These omelets are way to easy and look elegant enough to serve at a formal breakfast or brunch.
You can pretty much customize these however you'd like. A great way to use up left over ingredients.
