A&Z #904 - Randy Santel Atlas vs Anthony's I Love Muff Italian Muffoletta Sandwich Challenge w/ Po-boys and Lasagna at Anthony's Italian Deli in Baton Rouge, Louisiana!! After attempting The Lunatic Burger Patty Record Challenge at Locals Bar and Kitchen in Denham Springs, Louisiana, I traveled to nearby Baton Rouge, LA. I was the first person to attempt and help kick off the new I Love Muff Italian Muffoletta Sandwich Challenge w/ po-boys and lasagna at Anthony's Italian Deli which has been serving the Baton Rouge, LA area for over 30 years. I had to finish their signature New Orleans style Muffoletta, a Godfather Sandwich, an Italian Deli Special on Muffoletta bread, 1/2 a Meatball Po-boy, 1/2 an Italian Sausage Po-boy, and a big slice of Anthony's delicious lasagna served with Anthony's cajun pasta salad w/ added meats and cheese, plus a tasty Tiramisu Cup for dessert. I was trying to win my $74 meal free, a sweet t-shirt, and a spot on their Wall of Fame. Thanks to everyone with Anthony's Italian Deli for the delicious food, drinks, and hospitality!! Thanks also to everybody who came to watch and meet me that evening!! I appreciate everyone in the Baton Rouge, LA area and throughout the state of Louisiana who supports our efforts!!

New Orleans Roast Beef Po-boy
New Orleans native Charlie Andrews demonstrates how to make a Roast beef po-boy. A Po-boy is a traditional sandwich from Louisiana. This particular sandwich is made with slow-cooked roasted beef with shredded lettuce, sliced tomatoes and mayonnaise on a New Orleans baguette style French bread. This recipe makes 2 12-inch-long sandwiches, 4 six-inch-long sandwiches or 8 party sized sandwiches. It's perfect to serve for lunch or if you're having a few guests over. It's also juicy, flavorful and absolutely delicious. Hope you all will give this classic New Orleans style sandwich a try.
