How To make Oatmeal Peanut Drops For The Boys
3/4 c Raisins; seedless
1/4 c Shortening
1 c Sugar
1/2 c Peanut butter
2 Eggs; beaten
1/4 c Milk
1 1/2 c Flour; sifted
1/4 ts Salt
1/2 ts Baking soda
1 ts Cinnamon
1 ts Vanilla
3/4 c Rolled oats; quick cooking
Pour boiling water over raisins, let stand for 5 minutes, drain on absorbent towel or paper. Cream shortening, add sugar, and cream fluffy. Add peanut butter, mix well. Add eggs and milk. Mix and sift flour,salt, and baking soda and cinnamon, add to creamed mixture. Add vanilla, raisins and oats. Drop by teaspoonful about 2 inchs apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Coach Christina and her cute niece, Theia, make easy oatmeal peanut butter chocolate cookies together. Join them for an informative session on making simple, healthy snacks!
Making No-Bake Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies
Making no-bake cookies
PUT ALL THESE INGREDIENTS ON THE TABLE: (typed for my grandchildren)
Sugar
Cocoa
1 stick of butter
Milk
Peanut Butter
Vanilla
Oats
Wax paper
Pan
Wooden spoon
Teaspoon
Tablespoon
Measuring cup
Bowl that will hold 3 cups of oats
Get the pan and put the following into it:
2 cups sugar
3 tablespoons of cocoa
1 stick of butter
1/2 cup of milk
Stir it up and put on the stove on medium heat, stirring once in a while
Get the following stuff ready:
3 cups of oatmeal (put into a bowl, ready to pour)
Put a tablespoon beside the vanilla
Measure out 1 cup of peanut butter
Put a sheet of wax paper on the table where you will put the cookies
Stir the pan and when it starts boiling well all over, set the timer at 1 min. 15 seconds (75 seconds)
When the timer goes off, turn the stove off
IN THE PAN ADD:
1 tablespoon of vanilla
Stir in the cup of peanut butter, then add the oats and stir
After everything is stirred well, start dipping out cookies onto the cookie sheet (wax
paper)
No Bake Peanut Butter Oatmeal Cookies
I have a friend that had this recipe and I thought I would make it. Hope you like it. I just made a 1/2 batch so the whole recipe is below:
No Bake Peanut Butter Oatmeal Cookies
2 cups sugar
dash of salt
1 stick butter
1/2 cup milk
1 cup peanut butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 cups quick cooking oatmeal
In a large saucepan bring to a boil the sugar, salt, butter and milk. Boil mixture over medium heat for 1 full minute. Remove from heat immediately. Add peanut butter and vanilla; stir well. Add oatmeal and stir until thoroughly incorporated. On a sheet of waxed paper, drop mixture by the teaspoonfuls. Cool until set and firm Store in airtight container.

No-Bake Chocolate Oatmeal Peanut Butter Cookies
Anna has been wanting me to make cookies for awhile now so today I'm sharing a recipe for no-bake chocolate oatmeal peanut butter cookies. They're a big favorite around here and don't last very long!
Recipe: (I made half of this recipe in the video)
Boil together for 1 minute:
2 cups sugar
6-7 T. cocoa powder
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup milk
1 tsp. salt
Remove from heat. Immediately add 1 cup peanut butter. Stir.
Add 3 cups oats and 1 tsp. vanilla. Stir well and drop by spoonfuls onto waxed paper or parchment paper.
Let cool.
