2/3 c Sugar 2/3 c Water 1 c Grapefruit juice 1/2 c Orange juice 3 tb Grenadine syrup 28 oz Ginger ale; chilled Combine sugar and water in saucepan over low heat. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Bring to boil and boil 10 minutes. Cool. Add sugar syrup to grapefruit and orange juices. Chill thoroughly. Add grenadine and ginger ale just before serving. Mock Pink Champagne
Yields: 16 (1 cup) servings
Ingredients: 1 cup sugar 2 cups water 1 (12oz.) can frozen orange juice, thawed 1 (12oz.) can frozen grapefruit juice, thawed 1 (2 liter) bottle ginger ale, chilled 2/3 cup grenadine syrup
Preparation Directions: ~ In a small saucepan, combine sugar and water. Bring to a boil, stirring until sugar is dissolved. Cool. ~ In a large container combine concentrates and sugar syrup; refrigerate. ~ Just before serving, add ginger ale and grenadine; stir gently.
