How To make Champagne Almond Cake
-JUDI M. PHELPS 1 tb Almonds; finely chopped
1/2 lb Butter
3 c Sugar
1 ts Vanilla extract
1 ts Almond flavoring
1 c Sour cream
6 lg Eggs
3 c Flour
1 ts Baking powder
1/2 ts Salt
1/4 ts Baking soda
********GLAZE********* 1 c Confectioners' sugar
1 ts Vanilla extract
2 To 3 tablespoons champagne
1 ts Almond extract
Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Grease and flour a 10 inch bundt pan. Sprinkle almonds on bottom and set aside. Cream the butter until it is light and fluffy. Add the sugar one cup at a time, beating well until the mix is smooth. Blend in the vanilla and almond flavoring and the sour cream. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Sift together the flour, salt, baking soda, and powder and add flour mix to the cake batter mixing just enough to incorporate it. Pour batter into prepared pan. Set in middle of oven. Bake for 1-1/2 hours or until cake tests done. Remove from oven. Loosen edges from side of pan with spatula; set on cake rack. Let cool 5 minutes and remove from pan. Approximately 10 servings. How To Make Easy Pink Champagne Almond Bundt Cake
I had extra champagne bottles right around New Year's Eve. It occurred to me that we make a dessert with champagne for either New Year's, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Oscar or Golden Globe Parties. A Pink Champagne Bundt Cake is a festive way to celebrate at your next party.
This is a fast and easy cake to make especially if you decide at the very last minute to have a Golden Globe or Oscar party. The convenience of a cake mix, the flavor of Almond Paste and Pink Champagne creates one easy but sophisticated tasting cake.
With this version we gave it a Scandinavian twist adding almond paste and decorated the cake with red currants. However these Scandinavian flavors are optional. You could replace the almond paste with lemon zest or even add raspberry flavoring too. Another option is to make the Bundt cake with only champagne.
How To Make A Pink Champagne Bundt Cake ????
❄️ Ingredients ❄️
Cake Ingredients:
1-7 oz box Almond Paste
1 box Yellow or White Cake Mix
1 box instant vanilla pudding
4 large eggs, room temperature
3/4 cup oil
3/4 cup water
1/2 cup pink champagne
1 teaspoon of almond extract
pink food coloring gel
Frosting Ingredients:
4 cup confectioner's sugar, sifted
1/2 a cup of pink champagne
1 stick of soft butter
1 teaspoon of almond extract
pink coloring gel
festive sprinkles
Optional: fruit
