Grandma's Peanut Butter Blossoms
The Brachs chocolate stars make these what they are!! You can use Hershey's Kisses if you must but they are not the same. It's worth it to use Brachs if you can find them.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 tsp vanilla
1 3/4 cups flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
2 Tbsp milk
Brachs chocolate stars
Cream the butter or margarine with the sugars. Beat in egg, peanut butter and vanilla. In separate bowl, combine flour, soda and salt. Add to wet ingredients along with milk. Mix until smooth and thoroughly combined.
Roll into 1 balls and coat in sugar. Place onto ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 375* for 10-12 minutes. When done, pull out of oven and immediately place chocolate candy in the center of each cookie. Let cool for a few minutes on cookie sheet and then transfer to the counter to cool completely. Makes about 24 cookies. Enjoy!
