1 Box AM Muffin Mix --(Apple Spice Oat Bran) 1/2 c Pitted and chopped dates 1/2 c Diced dried papaya 1/2 c Diced dried pear 1/2 c Raisins 1/2 c Chopped nuts 3 tb Grated orange rind 2 tb AM Unrefined Sesame Oil 1/4 c Honey 1 ts Vanilla 1 1/4 c Water 1 Egg; beaten (optional) Preheat oven to 350 F. Combine the liquid ingredients. In a separate bowl stir the mix into the fruit and nuts. Combine the two mixtures and add the orange rind. Bake in a 9" x 5" pan for 45 minutes. It is full of dried fruits and nuts, laced with alcohol over several weeks, and often covered with marzipan and royal icing. The problem is that it's both expensive to make and it needs time to age. Luckily, there is a much simpler version of this cake for the last minute baker, and I call it an Easy Fruit Cake.

FRUIT CAKE Ingredients 180 gm Butter / बटर 180 gm Sugar / चीनी 2 tbsp Tutti fruiti / टूटी फ़्रूटी 1 tsp Vanilla essence / वनीला एसेंस 180 gm Flour / मैदा 4 Eggs / अंडा ¼ cup Almonds, chopped / बादाम ¼ cup walnuts chopped / अखरोट ¼ cup Tutti fruiti / टूटी फ़्रूटी
Process
In a mixing bowl, add butter, sugar, tutti fruiti and mix well till the butter change the colour. Add vanilla essence, flour and mix well, add egg and mix well. Add almonds, walnuts, tutti fruiti mix well by cut and fold method. Grease the mould with butter and place butter papper. Pour the batter into the mould and bake it at 165 to 170 for 40 minutes. Dust icing sugar over the cake. Let cool a bit. Cut and serve.

WELCOME TO YUMMY TODAY'S RECIPE IS Bakery Style Dry Fruit Cake | Vanilla Fruit Cake Recipe | Yummy
INGREDIENTS:
DRY FRUIT 1/4 cup FLOUR 1 TSP KEEP ASIDE SOFTEN BUTTER - 100GM VANILLA - 1/2 TSP POWDER SUGAR - 1/2 CUP MIX UNTIL FLUFFY 2 EGGS (substitute 1/2 cup curd or condensed milk) FLOUR (MAIDA) - 1/2 CUP MILK POWDER - 1 TBSP CORN FLOUR - 1 TSP BAKING POWDER - 1/2 TSP 6 INCH PAN GREASE OIL PLACE BAKING PAPER PLACE A STAND & HEAT THE PAN FOR 5 MIN. ON MEDIUM FLAME AFTER 5 MIN PLACE THE MOULD COOK IT ON MEDIUM LOW FLAME FOR 30-40 MIN OR BAKE IN A PREHEATED OVEN AT 180c FOR 30-40 mins

Chef RV’s EASY FRUIT CAKE
EASY FRUITCAKE 250g salted butter, cut into cubes 200g brown sugar 4 pcs. whole eggs 250g all-purpose flour
150g walnuts, coarsely chopped 200g dried cranberries 100g green glazed cherries 100g red glazed cherries 100g apricot, coarsely chopped 100g prunes, coarsely chopped 1 tsp. all spice or pumpkin spice
Rum syrup: ½ cup dark rum ¼ cup dark brown sugar ½ cup pineapple juice
As needed: bottle of dark rum all purpose flour whole walnuts glazed cherries (red and green) dried apricots (halved)
