How to Make Spicy Chili de Arbol | Authentic Mexican Salsa
A charred chile de árbol salsa recipe for those who like it hot.
This bold and spicy Mexican salsa recipe is one of our favorites.
In this salsa, we use dried chile de árbol, which are fiery hot, but you control how much heat you want by adding more or less chile peppers.
Warning: Charring the chile peppers gives the salsa a depth of flavors and deliciousness that is somewhat addictive. :)

Fiery Peach Salsa ~ Canning Salsa ~ Water Bath Canning ~ Steam Canning
As beautiful as it is delicious! A yummy summer treat to have on your shelf.
6 c. peeled and diced, hard under-ripe peaches
1 c. sugar
1 c. chopped red bell pepper
1 c. apple cider vinegar (5% acidity)
1/2 c. chopped red onion
1/2 c. water
1/4 c. fresh or bottled lime juice
1/4 t. salt
2 jalapeno peppers, seeded and finely chopped
2 cloves of minced garlic
1 habanero pepper, seeded and minced
1/4 c. chopped fresh cilantro
Ladle hot salsa into hot half-pint (8 oz) jars leaving 1/2 headspace. Remove air bubbles. Wipe jar rim. Center lid and apply band to fingertip tight.
Process for 10 minutes in boiling water or steam canner, adjusting for altitude as follows:
1,001-3,000 ft ~ increase processing time by 5 minutes
3,001-6,000 ft ~ increase processing time by 10 minutes
6,001-8,000 ft ~ increase processing time by 15 minutes
8,001-10,000 ft ~ increase processing time by 20 minutes
Allow jars to rest undisturbed for 12-24 hours. Remove bands, check seals, wash and label jars. Store in a cool dark dry place.
