Dirt Cup | Tierrita #Shorts
#Shorts Learn how to make my fun and delicious Dirt Cup - Tierrita. This is a dessert I learned to love while living on the island of Puerto Rico. It’s a super popular dessert that is served at many restaurants across the island and is a favorite of kids and adults alike! In my version, I’ll teach you how to make it with a delicious and creamy chocolate mousse that I put together without any raw eggs. We’ll warm the eggs up to a safe temperature, then combine them with perfectly whipped cream and loads of chocolate to make a creamy, velvety, and indulgent chocolate mousse. Then, of course, we’ll top it all off with the “tierrita” part of the recipe. Tierrita in Spanish means dirt, or more specifically little dirt, being that it ends in “ita,” making it the diminutive form of the word. Without its dirt, it wouldn’t be a Dirt Cup - Tierrita after all! Don’t worry, no real dirt is used in this recipe, but you wouldn’t know it by looking at the end product! The smashed up Oreo cookies, the gummy worm, and the little flowers growing out of the pot, give our Dirt Cup - Tierrita its classic and fun look! Make it for the kids in your life today — or make it for the kid in you!
