How To make Curry Chicken Pitas
1 lb Boneless, skinless
-chicken breast, -cut into 1-inch chunks 2 tb Margarine
1/2 c Finely chopped onion
1 tb Curry powder
1/2 ts Ground cinnamon
1/4 ts Ground coriander
2 ds Cayenne pepper
2 tb Water
2 Pitas
In a large skillet over medium-high heat melt margarine. Add onion and saute for 2 to 3 minutes. Add chicken and saute 5 to 6 minutes, until cooked through. Add seasonings and water. Stir well until thoroughly blended. Split between the two pitas, putting chicken on top of the pitas and trickling the remainng sauce over them. (Neil decided to fill his pita with the chicken, but I ate mine on the outside, rather than in the pocket. It's good either way. Oh, and make sure your bathroom door is closed when you make this, or your towels will smell like curry when you go to dry off from your shower the next morning...) Vadouvan Chicken Pitas
10 oz chicken breast strips
1 red onion
½ cup tzatziki
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
2 pocketless pitas
2 scallions
3 tbsp sweet chili sauce
2 tbsp vadouvan curry powder
½ lb red cabbage
1- preheat oven to 450 degrees
Cut cabbage; slice the leaves
Slice the scallions, separating the white bottoms and hollow green tops
Slice the onion
2- combine the sliced cabbage, white bottom of the scallions, sweet chili sauce, and vinegar; season with salt and pepper
Set aside to marinate for 10 minutes
3- pat the chicken dry with paper towels; season with salt, pepper, and curry powder to coat
Heat 2 tbsp of olive oil
Add chicken and onion in an even layer
Season with salt and pepper. Cook 4-6 minutes
4- wrap the pitas in foil and place directly onto an oven rack; warm 7-9 minutes
5- spread the tzatziki onto the warmed pitas; top with the chicken and onion
Serve the pitas with the slaw on the side
Garnish with the green tops of the scallions

EASY CHICKEN CURRY
2 tablespoons salted butter
2 tablespoons cooking oil
2 tablespoons minced garlic
1 large white onion, chopped
2 tablespoons curry powder
4 pieces bay leaves (laurel)
1 teaspoon turmeric powder
2 pcs cinnamon sticks (optional)
2 tablespoons fish sauce
1 kilo chicken breast fillet, cut into cubes
1/2 kilo potatoes, peeled and cut into cubes
1 can mushrooms
2 teaspoons white sugar
1 tablespoon vinegar
2 tablespoons salted butter (for mounting)
Garnish with fresh herbs of your choice
Flat bread:
2 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 cup water
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon instant dry yeast (you may also use active dry)
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon salt
Curried chicken and apple pita
Combine the flavours of curry powder with Greek yoghurt in this quick and easy-to-make sandwich. The green apples make it a tad bit sweet, but also tone down the saltiness of the yoghurt.
RECIPE: Curried chicken and apple pita
1 chicken breast, grilled and cubed
2 tbsp Greek yoghurt
1 tsp curry powder
Half green apple, sliced
Pita bread, sliced in half
Fried onions, for garnish
1) Mix together 1 tsp curry powder with 2 tbsp Greek yoghurt
2) Add 1 grilled and cubed chicken breast and mix well.
3) Fill the pita with green apple slices and the chicken mix, and garnish with fried onions.

How to cook:
Cut 2 chicken breasts in small pieces
2 tsp of peri peri masala powder
1 tsp of garlic and ginger paste
2 tbsp of dark soy sauce
1 tsp of chilli powder
1 tsp of cumin powder
1 tsp of curry powder
1 tsp of salt
Now mix well then marinate for 1 hour
80ml of cooking oil on a pan for frying the chicken
Fry for 15 min
Add 2 bell peppers and fry for another 5 minutes
Making the dough:
750ml of plain flour
½tsp of salt
1½tsp of baking powder
3tsp of cooking oil
mix it
250ml of hot water as you mix
leave it for 1 hour rest
Follow the video instruction for shaping the bread
Cook the pita bread for 3 min each side, tap for evenly cooked
