How To make Crusty Crescent Taco Squares
1 pound ground beef
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 1/3 oz. envelope taco seasoning mix
16 ounces refried beans
8 ounce can tomato sauce
2 (8 oz.)cans Pillsbury Refrigerated Crescent Rolls
1 tablespoon oil
1/3 cup cornmeal
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
(4 ounces)
1 cup shredded monterey jack cheese :
(4 ounces)
2 cups shredded lettuce
1 cup chopped tomatoes
taco sauce
Heat oven to 375 F. Brown meat and onions; drain. Stir in taco seasoning mix, beans and tomato sauce. Simmer 5 minutes. Unroll dough into 4 long rectangles. Place in ungreased 15x10 inch jelly roll pan; press over bottom and 1 inch up sides to form crust. Brush dough with oil; sprinkle with cornmeal. Spoon hot meat mixture over crust. Bake at 375 F. for 25-30 minutes or until crust is golden brown. Sprinkle with cheese. Return to oven until cheese is melted, about 1-2 minutes. Cut into squares. Top with lettuce, tomatoes and taco sauce, as desired. Makes 8 servings. Stock up on some crescent rolls! With this easy recipe, you can enjoy freshly baked homemade Danish in minutes in the morning. Pre-made crescent roll dough makes a great base for Danish pastry, and you don’t even need to unroll it. Plus, the sweet-tangy lemon cream cheese filling is ready in a minute, and no blender is required.

INGREDIENTS (6 servings):
1 can crescent rolls (Pillsbury Butter Flake Crescent Rolls)
½ cup whipped cream cheese
1 egg yolk (use the egg white for an egg wash)
2 Tbsp sugar
½ tsp lemon juice
¼ tsp vanilla extract
½ Tbsp orange marmalade per danish (or any fruit preserve of choice)
For the glaze (optional):
¼ cup powdered sugar
2 tsp milk

Easy crescent roll taco pie
This one is on the cooks.com website under easy taco pie
1 can of Crescent Rolls
1 lb. lean ground beef
1 8 oz. container of sour cream
1 8 oz. package of finely shredded mild Cheddar cheese
1 package taco seasoning (dry)
1/2 package water (use taco seasoning package)
1/2 bag crushed tortilla chips
Dash of Max farts (optional)
Spray a 9 inch glass pie plate with cooking spray. Line the pie plate with the Crescent Rolls, making sure to overlap, Fill any gaps and bring up to edge.
Sprinkle with half the tortilla chips. Brown and drain beef. Add Taco Seasoning and water. Simmer for 10 minutes.
Top crescent rolls and chips with meat mixture. Top with sour cream and shredded cheese and the remaining tortilla chips.
Bake in a 350°F oven for 20-25 minutes.
Serve with extra sour cream, salsa or salsa con queso and shredded lettuce, tomatoes or other toppings of your choice.
