6 1/2 To 7 ounces crab meat or
Water-packed tuna
drained 6 Whole grain crackers :
finely
Crushed 1/4 cup Minced red bell pepper
2 tablespoons Fresh minced parsley
1/8 teaspoon Ground red pepper
2 tablespoons Minced onions
1 Smilin' egg white
2 teaspoons Reduced calorie
Mayonnaise 1 1/2 teaspoons Lemon juice
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 Garlic -- minced
1 To 2 teasp fresh minced basi
1/2 teaspoon Marjoram
Preheat oven to 375~. Spray nonstick baking sheet with vegetable coating spray. In large bowl, gently mix all ingredients, being careful not to break up lumps of crab meat. Using a scant 1/4 cup mixture for each, make 6 cakes. Shape mixture into circle, pressing flat. Place on prepared baking sheet. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown. Remoulade Sauce ►
Tuna Cakes
Ingredients:
4 ounce can of tuna, drained & patted dry
1 egg
1/2 Tbs mayonnaise
1/2 Tbs sour cream
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp creole seasoning
1/2 tsp lemon pepper
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp dried dill
1/2 Tbs dried chives
2 Tbs parmesan cheese
2 Tbs almond flour
2 Tbs oil for frying
Serve with lemon wedges.
Makes 2 tuna cakes (one serving)

Low-Carb & Delicious Tuna Patties, a.k.a Cakes! An easy dinner idea

Ingredients
3 (5-oz) cans tuna, drained and flaked
1/4-1/2 cup flax-meal
1 teaspoon dried dill
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
zest of a lemon
1/2 teaspoon salt
freshly cracked black pepper to taste
8 scallions, thinly sliced
1-2 garlic cloves, grated
2 tablespoons olive oil
2-3 tablespoons of mayonnaise
1 tablespoon mustard
2 eggs
1 teaspoon celery seeds
Instructions
Add the scallions and oil to a skillet cooking over medium heat. Cook until soft and golden. About 3-5 minutes. Add the garlic and warm through until fragrant. Remove from the heat.
Add all of the ingredients to a large mixing bowl and mix together.
Form the patties (about a quarter cup of the mixture) and place onto a baking tray lined with parchment.
At this point the patties can be frozen. Once they are firm, transfer the to freezer safe bags and they will keep fresh frozen up to 3 months.
Heat a cast-iron skillet over medium heat and add about a quarter cup of olive oil. Once the oi is hot, add the patties to the skillet and fry for 3-4 minutes per side. Transfer them to a tray lined with paper towels to absorb the oil and serve.
Serve them over rice, salad, cauliflower rice, or in a pita. Kali Orexi!
