Walt Disney's FAMOUS Chili Recipe!! (EASY & SIMPLE - 5 Steps)
Walt Disney was a man of simple taste when it came to what he ate. Throughout most of his life, funding had always been difficult for him, but he always found a way to make ends meet when it came to food. Coming from the mid-west, Walt was a meat and potatoes guy, and his favorite meal to fix up was always a bowl of chili. From his own concoction of cans of Gebhardt's & Dennison's at the Studio, to enjoying a bowl from Chasen's (a popular Hollywood Restaurant), Walt always found himself enjoying different (yet simple) chili recipes.
Several variations of Walt's favorite recipes can be found at the Disney Archives dating as far back as 1958. However, the story goes that later into his career, the family cook was able to perfect these many combinations into the ultimate recipe that evenly balanced both meat and beans. The result... was the same chili recipe used today at the parks, and most famously known at the Carnation Café in Disneyland! So grab your ingredients and head into your own Carnation Café (or kitchen), as we break down this simple, 5-step chili recipe of nostalgia-- the exact way Walt Disney would have enjoyed it!
