FLAKES 2 tb CHILI POWDER
1 1/2 tb WORCHESTERSHIRE SAUCE
1 1/2 tb RED WINE VINEGAR
CORNbrEAD BATTER;RECIPE BELOW SAUTE ONION AND GARLIC IN OIL UNTIL SOFT AND trASLUCENT,NOT brOWNED.ADD GROUND BEEF AND COOK UNTIL MEAT IS NO LONGER RED.STIR IN TOMATOES,TOMATO PUREE,CHILI POWDER,WORCHESTERSHIRE SAUCE,WINE VINEGAR,HOT PEPPER SAUCE,BAY LEAVES,SALT AND CHILI PEPPER FLAKES.LET SIMMER,STIRRING OCCASIONALLY,FOR O HOUR.ADJUST SEASONINGS,TO TASTE.(THE CHILI MAY BE REFRIGERATED AT THIS POI FOR LATER USE.) 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
1 pound ground pork
3 green peppers coarsely chopped
4 yellow onions, peeled and coarsely chopped
1 (28 oz. can) crushed tomatoes
3 cloves garlic
3/4 stick of butter
1/3 Cup Chili Powder
1 and 1/2 tsp. cumin
Salt
Pepper
Olive oil (about 2 tbs)
Fresh Cilantro (1 bunch)
Fresh Parsley (1 bunch)
To serve:
White Cheddar Cheese (grated)
Chopped cilantro
Lettuce (if serving on a bed of lettuce)
