How To make Chicken with Apples
4 lb Chicken
cut up
2 T Butter
2 T Oil
1/3 c Brandy
4 Apple :
peeled, cored &
-sliced 2 Onion -- chopped
1 c Apple cider or apple juice
-for authorityuse calvados 1 c Sour cream
1 T Flour
2 T Parsley :
chopped
1 t Tarragon
1/2 ts Paprika
Salt to taste Pepper :
to taste
In a casserole, heat butter and oil and brown chicken; season with salt and pepper if desired. Warm brandy in saucepan, ignite, and pour over chicken. Allow flame to burn itself out. Add apples and onion. Combine cider, sour cream, flour, and herbs; stir until smooth and pour over contents of casserole. Bake, covered, at 350 degrees for 1 hour, or until chicken is tender. If you want, 2 cups of cider or apple juice may be used; just omit the sour cream and use 2 Tbs of flour. You can also try it without the tarragon, using 1/4 tsp each of nutmeg, cinnamon, and ground cloves. Ingredients:
1 whole chicken
2 tsp. lemon pepper
2 tsp. herbs De Provence
2 tsp. garlic powder
1 tbsp. sweet paprika
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1/2 tsp. red pepper flakes
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Sea salt to taste
Some olive oil

375 F until internal temp reads at least 165 F in the thickest part of the thigh.

3 cups chopped cooked chicken ($7.97)
1 apple (1.5 cups chopped) ($0.76)
1/4 cup diced red onion ($0.20)
1/4 cup dried cranberries ($0.22)
1/3 cup mayonnaise ($0.53)
1/3 cup plain yogurt ($0.35)
1 Tbsp Dijon mustard ($0.18)
1 Tbsp red wine vinegar ($0.10)
1/4 tsp salt ($0.02)
1/4 tsp freshly cracked black pepper ($0.02)
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Chop the cooked chicken and the apple into small pieces. Finely dice the red onion.
2. Place the chicken, apple, onion, and dried cranberries in a large bowl.
3. Combine the mayonnaise, yogurt, Dijon, red wine vinegar, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Stir until smooth.
4. Pour the dressing over the salad ingredients in the bowl and stir until everything is coated. Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to eat.

✅ Ingredients:
• dried bacon – 7 oz | 200 g
• butter – 2 oz | 50 g
• 4 chicken legs
• salt – 1 tsp
• ground black pepper – ½ tsp
• bulb onion – 5 oz | 150 g
• garlic – 4 cloves
• potato – 17 oz | 500 g
• dijon mustard – 2 tbsp
• honey – 1 tbsp
• clarified apple juice – 1 cup | 250 ml
• cream 20% - ¾ cup | 200 ml
• dried tarragon – 1 tsp
• dried thyme – 1 tsp
• 1 lemon zest
✅ You will need:
• carving board
• pan with a lid
• lid can be replaced with foil list
• 2 bowls
• citrus zester
???? Preparation:
1. Heat a pan and fry the bacon for 2 minutes over medium heat.
2. Take the bacon out of the pan into a bowl, add the butter to the pan and fry the chicken from both sides until golden brown.
3. Replace the fried chicken into the bowl and fry now the bulb onion and garlic for 2 minutes over medium heat.
4. Add the potato and fry over medium heat for 4 minutes.
5. Add the apple juice, cream, mustard, honey, tarragon, salt, pepper and thyme into the pan, bring to a boil and add the bacon and chicken.
6. Cover with a lid or foil and bake in the oven preheated to 360°С | 180°C for 30 minutes, in half an hour open the lid and bake for 15 minutes more.
7. Take the pan out of the oven, season your chicken with apple cream sauce with a lemon zest and serve to the table.
