How To make Caramel Apple Pecan Pie
Pastry for 2-crust 9" pie 4 McIntosh apples; peeled/
-cored/thin sliced (1 lb) 1/2 c Pecans; chopped
1/4 c Sugar
1/4 lb Caramels; coarse chopped
2 tb Flour
1/4 c Milk
Milk; for top Sugar; for top 1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Ease 1 round of pastry
into a 9-inch pan. 2. In a large bowl, toss together apples, pecans,
sugar, caramels, flour and milk. Spoon mixture into pie shell. 3. Top with the remaining pastry. Fold the edge of the
top pastry under the bottom pastry. Pinch together and flute the edge with a fork. Cut several slits in the top so the steam can escape during baking. Brush top with milk and sprinkle with sugar. 4. Bake until crust is golden brown, about 45 minutes.

Caramel Pecan Apple Pie and Cranberry Bread/ Thanksgiving Desserts
When life hands you apples, make apple pie and Cranberry bread! I was so excited to find cranberries on sale at Aldi this week as well as pick up some additional apples. After having that slice of pie at the restaurant, I had to try out a new variation to our apple pie. I couldn't really taste the caramel in it, but boy those pecans took it up a notch! I may make this a permanent addition. I loved the crunch of the pecans.
Caramel Apple Pie:
2 raw pie crusts
6 cups sliced granny apples
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 tsp salt
3/4 tsp cinnamon
1/8 tsp nutmeg
2 TBSP flour
1/2 cup pecans
1/4 cup caramel
Cranberry Bread:
4 cups AP flour
2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/3 cups brown sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon
4 large eggs
1/2 cup applesauce
cup vegetable oil
2 tsp vanilla
2 c honeycrisp apples, diced
2 cups fresh cranberries, large chopped
1 cups pecans or walnuts

Upside Down Pecan Apple Pie Easy Recipe
Store bought pie crust..it comes 2 in package (let crust come to room temp approx 20 min)
2 cans of apple pie filling 20 oz
1/2 cup pecans
1/2 cup brown sugar
5 tbsp butter
cinnamon and nutmeg

The pie crust say 9. I made this in a 10 pie tin, 11 rim to rim. It worked perfectly!
