One of my favorite Valentine's Day sets ever: Love Birds! Yes, they're penguins! Penguins are birds ;) This was the set I used for a beginner class I taught (minus the lettered love birds plaques--those went into the goodie bags!). Watch on for a real-time tutorial of how to decorate this love birds set of cookies with royal icing!
Satisfying time lapse compilation of this set:

*I do receive a small commission from items purchased from my shop. I only include items I personally own and love!*
Projector: I own both of these projectors. I first owned the Pico and purchased the Bluetooth as an upgrade. If budget is a concern, the Pico gets the job done (just make sure that you're plugging it in correctly!). Otherwise, I recommend the Bluetooth - it has a better/brighter image and connects via Bluetooth.

***Please note: my LEMON royal icing recipe does NOT work with all of the Master Elite colors due to the acidity of the lemon juice -- a VANILLA (non-lemon) recipe is best used for the Master Elite pinks, otherwise I use all of their other colors with my lemon recipe (I use Wilton pink with my lemon recipe)

Bird Nest Cookies
These adorable bird nest cookies are quick and easy to make and are the perfect Easter dessert to make for friends and family.
RECIPE & INSTRUCTIONS HERE! -
Ingredients
1 Tbsp unsalted butter for greasing the pan
12 oz semi sweet chocolate chips 1 bag
1 cup creamy peanut butter
6 oz chow mein noodles dried chow mein, see La Choy Chow Mein Noodles in a can
36 mini chocolate candy coated eggs mini Cadbury eggs, 3 for each nest
Instructions
Thoroughly grease a muffin pan with butter.
Heat the chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl in 30 second intervals, stirring in-between every interval until the chocolate is melted.
Add the peanut butter to the melted chocolate and mix to combine until smooth and creamy.
Add your chow mien noodles to the mixture and gently stir to coat using a wooden spoon.
Using a cookie scoop or spoon, spoon the mixture into the muffin pan. Gently press down the center of each nest to create a shallow well where your eggs will be placed.
Place the nests in the refrigerator to chill for about an hour or until hardened.
Carefully remove your nests from the muffin tin and place three chocolate coated candy eggs onto each nest or top with a marshmallow Peeps.
Notes
The nutrition facts on this recipe card does not include the mini Cadbury eggs.
We like to use Cadbury mini eggs for the top but jellybeans, M&M's, and Whoppers malted milk robin eggs work just as well. You can also make a few of your nests with a Peep marshmallow bird on top!

This fun filled episode is FESTIVE and was filmed a few days before Christmas... aaaaand it aired ON Christmas haha. Cooking with Lillie! Let's make bird's nest cookies! It's quick and easy and most of all... yummy!!!
This recipe is Eddy approved!
Bird's nest cookies ingredients: Chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, 1/2 cup peanut butter, chow mein noodles (4 cups). This is what we used. There are different recipes and you can also use melting candies instead of chocolate for different color nests. As long as you don't burn the chocolate and don't put too many noodles, you can't go wrong!
