How To make Boston Banana Cream Pie
: Cake: 1 1/4 c All-Purpose Flour
3/4 c Sugar
2 ts Baking Powder
1/4 ts Salt
2/3 c Milk
1/4 c Melted Butter
1 ts Vanilla Extract
1 Egg
: Filling: 1/2 c Sugar
3 TB All-Purpose Flour
1/8 ts Salt
1 1/4 c Milk
1 Egg,
Slightly Beaten
1 TB Butter
1 ts Vanilla Extract
3 md Bananas, :
Cut into 1/4
: Inch Slices : Glaze: 1 oz Unsweetened Chocolate
2 TB Butter
1 c Powdered Sugar
: ds Salt 1/2 ts Almond Extract
3 TB Milk
Cake: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease bottom of 9 inch pie pan. Line bottom with waxed paper and
grease again. In large bowl, blend on low speed, flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, milk, butter, vanilla and egg. Blend until moistened. Beat 2 minutes on medium speed. Pour into pie pan. Bake 20-30 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 5 minutes. Invert on wire rack. Remove waxed paper. Cool completely. Split horizontally, making 2 thin layers. Filling: in medium saucepan, mix together sugar, flour and salt. Gradually stir in milk. Boil 1 minute. Stir constantly. Blend 1/4 cup hot mixture into egg and egg mixture back into saucepan. Cook until mixture is bubbly. Stir constantly. Remove from heat. Stir in butter and vanilla. Cool. Stir often. Spread half of filling on cut side of larger cake layer. Arrange banana slices on filling. Spread remaining filling on top. Top with cake layer, cut side down. Glaze: in small saucepan over low heat, melt chocolate and 2 tablespoons butter. Remove from heat. Stir in powdered sugar, dash of salt, almond extract and enough milk to make spreading consistency. Mix until smooth. Spread on top of cake, letting glaze drip down sides of cake. Old-Fashion Banana Cream Pie With Meringue Topping
This pie is very rich just like my mother made.
Here are the ingredients:
Pie Crust:
1 1/3 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 egg yolk
3-4 tablespoons ice water
1/2 cup Crisco shortening

Filling:
2/3 cup sugar
1/4 cup cornstarch
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups whole milk
1 cup half n half
4 egg yolks, slightly beaten
2 tablespoons butter
2 teaspoons vanilla
4 large bananas
Meringue:
5 egg whiles
1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
10 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Bake until lightly browned in a 400 degree oven for 8-12 minutes

INGREDIENTS:
-1 package (4-serving size) vanilla instant pudding and pie filling mix
●1 1/4 cups milk
●1 cup frozen (thawed) whipped topping
●1 1/2 cups Original Bisquick mix
●1/2 cup sugar
●1/3 cup milk
●2 tablespoons unsweetened baking cocoa
●2 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
●1/2 teaspoon vanilla
●2 eggs
●2 medium bananas
●1/4 cup chocolate or fudge topping
Banana Cream Pie
Made from scratch, this Banana Cream Pie is rich and delicious. You will love this, it is the best Banana Cream Pie you will ever make! I promise!
Ingredients:
1 baked pie shell
4 egg yolks
1 package unflavored gelatin
4 tablespoons brandy
2/3 cup sugar
1/4 teaspoon table salt
2 Tablespoons cornstarch
1 and 1/2 cups milk
2 Tablespoons butter
2 teaspoons vanilla
4 bananas
For a larger pie use:
1 package gelatin
6 egg yolks
1 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon table salt
2 cups milk
2 Tablespoons cornstarch
3 teaspoons vanilla
3 Tablespoons butter
5 or 6 bananas
Put your brandy into a small bowl with your unflavored gelatin.
Allow to sit while you make your egg custard.
Take your metal bowl add in your egg yolks and mix in your salt and sugar, then add in your cornstarch and mix until you cannot see the cornstarch any longer.
Add in your milk and stir until smooth.
Put your egg custard mixture over a pot with simmering water and cook until thick.
Add in your butter during this process.
Take your brandy gelatin and put it into the microwave for 10 seconds, then add it to your egg custard along with your vanilla extract.
Allow to cool to room temperature.
Cover with plastic wrap and put into the refrigerator for 4 hours till cold.
Whipped Cream:
1 and 1/2 cups heavy cream
1 and 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 and 1/2 Tablespoons powdered confectioners sugar
Mix your cream and vanilla till it starts getting thick, then add your sugar and mix until really thick. Takes about 2 minutes to make your fresh whipped cream.
Get your egg custard out of the refrigerator.
Break it up with your mixer to loosen because it will be really thick.
Add in 1/4 to 1/3 of your whipped cream.
Put your egg custard into your baked pie shell.
Top with the rest of the whipped cream and chill your pie for one hour in the refrigerator or longer, then you can serve your delicious homemade Banana Cream Pie.
It will be the best that you and your family has ever had.

How to make a delicious banana cream pie from scratch! A vanilla custard-like pudding over sliced bananas in a pastry pie crust with real whipped cream and sliced almonds. Simply delicious!
What you'll need:
3/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup cornstarch
1/4 tsp salt
3 egg yolks
2-1/2 cups whole milk, divided
2 Tbsp butter
1-1/2 tsp vailla
3 ripe bananas
1 pastry pie crust (how I make pastry pie crust: )
fresh whipped cream (how I make whipped cream: )
sliced almonds (optional)
Blind bake the pie crust for 10 minutes in a 425* oven or until edges are slightly browned. Be sure to weight or prick the bottom to prevent it from rising. Let cool completely.
In a large bowl, combine sugar, cornstarch, salt, egg yolks and 1/2 cup milk. Whisk to fully incorporate. In a large saucepan, heat the remaining 2 cups milk just to a boil over medium heat while stirring constantly. When just to a boil, slowly pour the heated milk into the egg mixture while whisking vigorously. When all the milk is whisked in, transfer mixture back to the saucepan. Heat over medium heat until thick and bubbly. Remove from heat and whisk in butter and vanilla. Continue to whisk until butter is all melted and fully incorporated. Let cool on the stovetop 45 minutes to an hour.
When pudding is semi-cooled, slice bananas into the pastry crust. Arrange in a single layer on the bottom. Pour pudding over top and refrigerate 4-6 hours. Top with fresh whipped cream and sliced almonds. Serve and enjoy!
