How To make Banana Cream Cake with Strawberry Cream Filling
CAKE:
3 c Sifted flour
1 tb Baking powder
1 ts Salt
1/2 ts Almond extract
1 1/2 ts Vanilla
1/2 ts Banana extract
1 1/2 c Sugar
2 c Heavy cream
SIMPLE SYRUP:
1/3 c Sugar
1/3 c Water
4 tb Creme de banana
StrAWBERRY FILLING:
1 1/2 c Whipping cream
3/4 c Mashed fresh strawberries
1 ts Grand Marnier
3 tb Powdered sugar
1 lg Banana, sliced
Cake: Sift together flour, baking powder and salt; set aside. Beat eggs until light and foamy. Add flavorings. Add sugar gradually. Add flour mixture alternately with cream, beating after each addition until just smooth. Pour batter into two 9" greased round cake pans and bake in a preheated 350 degree oven 40 minutes or until done. Cool on racks and then brush with Simple Syrup. Simple Syrup: Combine sugar and water in a heavy small saucepan. Bring to a boil over moderate heat, stirring constantly until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat and cool to room temperature. Stir in creme de banana. Strawberry Frosting: Whip cream in large chilled bowl on low speed until soft peaks form. Add Grand Marnier and sugar and beat on high speed until spreading consistency. Fold in mashed strawberries. Spread this mixture between layers and add sliced banana on top of bottom layer. Add remaining mixture on top and sides of cake. 2 very ripe bananas
1/4 Cup corn starch
4 whole eggs
2 cups milk
1/2 Cup sugar
4 Tbsp butter
2 tsp vanilla
Place first 5 ingredients in a blender and blend completely. Pour into a pan and whisk constantly until it begins to simmer, then continue to whisk for a full minute.
Remove from heat and add last 2 ingredients and whisk until completely combined. Pass through mesh sieve and refrigerate at least 4 hours or over night. Make sure you put plastic wrap directly on the surface of the cream and remove all air bubbles.
Mix well before using.

Easy Banana Cream Pie
Here is what you'll need!
EASY BANANA CREAM PIE
Servings: 8
INGREDIENTS
1 refrigerated pie crust
1 3.4-ounce box banana pudding mix
2 cups milk
3 cups unsweetened whipped cream
2 bananas, sliced
PREPARATION
1. Preheat oven to 450°F/230°C.
2. Place pie crust in a 9-inch pie dish. With a fork, poke holes all around the bottom of the crust.
3. Bake crust in oven for 10-12 minutes.
4. In a large bowl, combine banana pudding mix and milk. Whisk vigorously until thick, about 2 minutes.
5. Add 2 cups whipped cream to bowl and fold in until evenly mixed.
6. Once the crust is cooled, cover bottom with banana slices.
7. Top the slices with the pudding and whipped cream mixture and chill for at least 3 hours.
9. Top pie with 1 cup of whipped cream and decorate with remaining banana slices.
10. Slice pie and serve!
