Cheeseburger biscuit bake
Jumbo Burger Cups - Review from Pillsbury
Ingredients:
* 1 1/2 lb lean (at least 80%) ground beef
* 1/2 cup ketchup
* 1/3 cup dill pickle relish
* 2 TBS yellow mustard
* 4 oz cream cheese (half of 8oz package)
* 1 tsp onion powder
* 1/2 tsp black pepper
* 1/2 tsp salt
* 1 can (16.3 oz) Pillsbury Grands! Flaky Layers refrigerated Butter Tastin biscuits
* 1 egg
* 1 tsp water
* 2 TBS sesame seeds
Steps:
1. Heat oven to 350*F. In a 12 skillet, cook beef over med heat for 8-12 mins, stirring occasionally, until thoroughly cooked, drain. Stir in ketchup, relish, mustard, cream cheese, onion powder, salt and pepper. Cook for about 5 mins, stirring occasionally, until cheese is melted and mixture is creamy. Reduce heat to low.
2. Separate dough into 8 biscuits. Using serrated knife, split each biscuit in half horizontally. Press 1 biscuit half into about 4 round. In ungreased non-stick muffin pan, press round in bottom and 1/2 to 3/4 of the way up the side of the muffin cup. Repeat with remaining biscuit halves.
3. Divide beef mixture evenly among biscuits in cups. Top with remaining biscuit halves, stretching slightly to cover beef mixture and slightly pressing edges to bottom biscuits to seal them.
4. In a small bowl, beat the egg and water well to blend; brush on top of the biscuits. Sprinkle with the sesame seeds.
5. Bake for approx. 15-20 mins or until tops are golden brown. Cool in the pan for 5 mins before serving.
6. Enjoy!
