2 c Whole wheat pastry flour
1 tb Cinnamon
1 ts Ground ginger
1/2 ts Allspice
1/2 ts Nutmeg
3/4 c Walnuts; chopped
2/3 c Oil
2/3 c Honey
2 Eggs; beaten
1 ts Vanilla extract
2 md Granny smith apples; grated
Stir flour, cinnamon, ginger, allspice, nutmeg, and walnuts together. In a separate bowl, blend oil, honey, eggs, and vanilla. Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients. Mix only until moistened. Gently fold in grated apple. Pour batter into an oiled 9x5 loaf pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 50 to 60 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. It's apple picking season, and if you're like me, you tend to pick more than you can eat. So what better way to use up your apples than to throw them in an incredibly flavorful, soft, fluffy, moist bread, topped with a crunchy walnut streusel and drizzled with a salty miso caramel? It's like a caramel apple, in bread form. Thank me later.
RECIPE (yields 2 standard sized loaves, or 4 minis):
Apple Bread:
2 cups (240 grams) flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon ginger
1/4 teaspoon cloves
2 eggs
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
1/2 cup (100 grams) dark brown sugar
1/4 cup (50 grams) granulated sugar
1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 cup (60 grams) milk
1 apple
1/2 apple, grated (optional)
3 cups (720 grams) apple cider
Walnut Topping:
1 cup roasted walnuts
1/4 cup (30 grams) flour
3 Tablespoons (37.5 grams) brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 Tablespoons butter, melted
Miso Caramel:
1 cup (200 grams) granulated sugar
1/4 cup (60 grams) water
1 Tablespoon butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup (120 grams) heavy cream
1-2 Tablespoons miso paste

Gingerade Spiced Apple Bread | GT's Kombucha
Enjoy togetherness this holiday season by breaking bread with a loaf of Gingerade Apple Spice Bread, crafted with GT's KOMBUCHA Gingerade.
Ingredients:
2 ½ cups gluten free all-purpose flour (I use bobs red mill all-purpose baking flour)
1 cup brown sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 ½ teaspoons xanthum gum
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 teaspoon nutmeg
2 teaspoon powdered ginger
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1 ½ cups applesauce
½ cup melted coconut oil
½ cup unsweetened coconut milk
½ cup GT’s KOMBUCHA Gingerade
2 teaspoons vanilla
⅔ cup fresh peeled and chopped apple
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Spray a loaf pan with cooking spray or brush with coconut oil
In the bowl of a standing mixer, combine all of the dry ingredients.
Add the applesauce, oil, coconut milk, kombucha, and vanilla then whisk until well combined. Gently fold in the apples and transfer the batter to the prepared loaf pan, spreading it evenly into the pan.
Bake the loaf for 60 minutes at 350 degrees. Remove the loaf from the oven and then let cool before sprinkling with powdered sugar. Slice and serve. Store in an airtight container at room temperature.

1/2 cup Evaporated milk
1/2 Tbsp Vinegar
Caramelized Apple
2 Tbsp Butter
2 cups Peeled and diced apples
2 Tbsp White sugar
1 tsp Cinnamon powder
Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for 50 to 60 minutes.
