GINISANG TOGUE | SAUTEED MUNG BEAN SPROUTS | FOODNATICS
Is a quick and nutritious Filipino vegetable dish. Mung bean sprouts is sautéed with other vegetables such as green beans, carrots, bell pepper and complimented with fried tofu and shrimps. You can make this as a filing for your lumpiang togue. Best served with a freshly steamed rice.
Ingredients:
4 cloves minced garlic
1 medium-sized red onion
150g carrot
150g green beans
500g togue or mung bean sprouts
150g red bell pepper
250g shrimps (seasoned with salt & pepper)
500g tofu
Sauce:
1 tsp coarse salt
1 tsp sesame oil
1/2 tsp pepper
30g oyster sauce
2 tbsp water

Ingredients:
4 cloves of garlic
3 chili peppers
2 green onions
6 jumbo shrimp
olive oil, sesame oil
1 stalk lemongrass
1 cup of bean sprouts
1 lime
salt, coriander
00:00 Peel the garlic and slice (press beforehand so the peel dissolves easier), cut the chili peppers in half and remove the seeds, cut into small pieces, wash the green onions, cut off the ends and cut into small pieces
02:59 Peel shrimp so that the tail is still there, remove the intestines, heat olive oil and add sesame oil, cut lemongrass into small pieces after having removed the outer leaves
05:20 check oil temperature and put the shrimp in the hot oil, add lemongrass, chili and garlic, mix well and cook with covered lid
06:30 Add spring onions to the shrimp and at the end of the cooking time add the bean sprouts, mix well and drizzle lime juice over the shrimp, add sesame oil, salt, coriander and some water and remove from heat, season to taste with soy sauce, salt, a pinch of sugar and olive oil

How to Cook Ginisang Togue with Shrimp and Tofu
Mung bean sprouts stir fried with shrimp and fried tofu. This easy to cook Filipino dish can be prepared during regular days. It is best paired with warm rice.
Ginisang togue ingredients:
12 ounces bean sprouts
8 ounces extra firm tofu
12 pieces shrimp, shell removed
1 red bell pepper, julienne
1 green bell pepper, julienne
1 tomato, cubed
1 onion, sliced
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 1/4 cups cooking oil
2 tablespoons oyster sauce
ground black pepper to taste
