How To make Drunken Bean Soup
2 15 oz. cans Pinto beans,
Drained and rinsed. 1/2 c Water or beer (I'd use beer)
1/2 Medium onion, sliced
3 Cloves garlic, minced
1/2 c Fresh Cilanto leaves
1 Fresh jalapeno pepper,

Instant Pinto beans
2 cups pinto beans
6 cups water
1/2 Tbsp salt
Optional- 1/2 onion + 2 garlic cloves
Pressure cook 40 minutes-let cook in pressure and extra 20 minutes- release steam- Boom Done!
Boracho Beans
2 cups cooked beans + 2 cups bean broth or 2 cups water
1 beer of choice
6 to 8 pieces of chopped bacon (hot dogs or thick ham)
1/2 chopped medium onion
2 ripe juicy chopped tomatoes
3 minced garlic cloves
1 chopped Jalapeño or pepper of choice
1 1/2 Tbsp tomato chicken bouillon or salt to taste
1/2 Tbsp brown sugar
1/2 Tbs Mexican Oregano (add last)
1 1/2 tsp ground cumin
-Saute bacon for 3 mins- add tomato, onion, garlic, jalapeño and sautéed for 2 mins- add ground cumin and stir a few seconds
-Add Beer + tomato chicken bouillon + brown sugar- stir and add beans + bean broth or water- stir
Pessure cook 8 mins- Boom Done!

Hello my beautiful fam welcome back to my kitchen, today I’m going to share with you my family’s recipe for frijoles charros! frijoles charros is a traditional pinto bean stew. We use this recipe for all of our family gatherings, it’s easy and delicious! Ingredients: 15-20 servings ( tip: if you don’t want your beans to be a little spicy, add less chile de árbol)
4lbs pinto beans
1 tbsp oregano
Salt to your taste
2 garlic cloves
2 small white onion
4 Roma tomatoes
1 chile jalapeño
1 bunch of cilantro
6 chile árbol
6 oz pork skin (chicharrón)
1 tube pork chorizo( I use beef because I don’t like pork ☝????)
1 package of wieners
12 oz bacon
Serve with tostadas or tortillas ????

Great Borracho Bean Recipe

Watch this video and please comment. This is truly a great borracho bean recipe. My borracho beens have been a hit for meals and at cookoffs. These beans have placed many times in the bean division at our bbq cook offs. Now for ya'll that may not know borracho means drunk in Spanish. So this is a drunken bean recipe. I like to use a dark beer when I make borracho beans and my favorite beer to use is Shiner Bock. Just follow the recipe and you will be abole to make great borracho beans to go along with your next Mexican meal.

Borracho Bean Recipe
1 Bottle Shiner Bock
2lbs Pinto Beans
5 Roma Tomatoes, diced
1bunch Cilantro, diced
1 White Onion, diced
1-2 Jalapenos, diced small
4 Bacon slices chopped,
4tbs Chili Powder
2tbs Cumin
1tbs Garlic Powder
1tbs Black Pepper
1-2tsp Oregano
Soak beans overnight or through the day in water and beer.
Place beans on stove and bring to a boil.
Add onions and jalapenos
Add bacon
Add seasonings
Lower heat and cook until beans are tender
Last 10-15 minutes of cook time add cilantro and tomatoes
