How To make Chocolate & Peanut Butter Buttons
Cookies: 1 1/2 c Firmly-packed brown sugar
2/3 c Crisco shortening
1 tb Water
1 ts Vanilla
2 Eggs
1 1/2 c All-purpose flour
1/3 c Cocoa
1/2 ts Salt
1/4 ts Baking soda
12 oz Semi-sweet chocolate chips
Granulated sugar Peanut butter cream filling: 1/3 c Creamy peanut butter
2 tb Crisco shortening
1 c Icing sugar
2 tb Milk
1/2 ts Vanilla
1. Pre-heat oven to 375F (190C). Place sheets of foil on
countertop for cooling cookies. 2. For cookies, combine brown sugar, shortening, water and
vanilla in large bowl. Beat at medium speed of electric mixer until well blended. Beat eggs into creamed mixture. 3. Combine flour, cocoa, salt and baking soda. Mix into
creamed mixture at low speed just until blended. Stir in chocolate chips. 4. Shape dough into l-inch (2.5 cm) balls. Roll in
granulated sugar. Place 2 inches (5 cm) apart onto ungreased baking sheet. Press thumb gently in center of each cookie. 5. Bake one baking sheet at a time at 375F (190C) for 7
to 9 minutes, or until cookies are set. DO NOT OVERBAKE. Press centers again with small measuring spoon. Cool 2 minutes on baking sheet. Remove cookies to foil to cool completely. 6. For peanut butter cream filling, combine peanut butter
and shortening in medium bowl. Beat at low speed of electric mixer until blended. Add icing sugar. Beat on low speed until blended. Add milk and vanilla. Beat on low speed until smooth. Fill centres of cooled cookies. Makes about 4 dozen cookies -----

Makes about 18 cookies
Ingredients:
1/2 – 2/3 cup (130-175g) peanut butter
1 cup (230g) butter
2 eggs
1 cup (200g) brown sugar
1/2 cup (100g) white sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2¾ cups (345g) flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup (175g) Chocolate chips
Directions:
1. Place the butter in a small saucepan and heat over medium-low heat until completely melted and browned, stirring frequently. About 5 minutes. Be careful, don’t burn the butter. Transfer the butter into a large bowl and let cool to room temperature.
2. In a small bowl stir flour, baking soda and salt. Set aside.
3. To the bowl with brown butter and both sugars and beat until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at the time and vanilla, beat just until combined, about 15-20 seconds. Gradually add flour mixture, stir just until combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.
4. Chill the dough in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
5. Preheat oven to 360F (180C).
6. Scoop out about 1-2 tablespoons of cookie dough and flatten it, spoon 1-1½ teaspoons of peanut butter (chilled) in the center, roll into a ball.
7. Place rolled balls on a parchment paper with about 2 inches apart.
8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned on the sides. Cool on baking sheets for a 10 minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.

Here's a quick recipe that is a family favorite passed down from my mother-in-law. This is a no bake recipe that tastes DELICIOUS! We made these for a party recently, and they were eaten in no time flat. If you're wanting to impress someone with your no-bake skills, then this chocolate peanut butter cookie recipe is sure to accomplish that for you. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
6 tablespoons melted butter
4.5 teaspoons baking cocoa
1.5 cups powdered sugar
1.5 teaspoons milk
6 tablespoons creamy peanut butter
Stir everything together to form small balls
Place on parchment paper and flatten down with your finger tip
Top with a chocolate chip
Keep stored in the refrigerator

Easy Buckeyes Recipe
Buckeyes are like peanut butter balls that didn’t get all the way dipped in chocolate. They’re no bake, SUPER-EASY to make and ultra snackable. As an added bonus you can make them in advance and pull them out of the fridge at a moment’s notice.

Peanut butter and chocolate are a match made in heaven so who could resist a buckeye or two?? They taste like peanut butter cups with an emphasis on the peanut butter! Not too sweet, really creamy, no bake, and so satisfying.
